Sirius Theatrical Company
Our home is a wonderful 80-seat proscenium arch, black box theatre in a 120 year old the church. This is where we rehearse, teach and perform 1 to 2 productions a year. In the scripts we animate, in our casting, in our classes and in our staff we strive to include the many different cultures, social groups, economic backgrounds and ages that exist side by side in our community . We work hard to be a good business in the community and to inspire, engage and foster a love of theatre. Our productions are intended for the general public and for theatre lovers who are interested in original works and performances that involve multiple artistic approaches to the interpretation of work.
To Engage, Empower and Inspire in all that we do and to value excellence, integrity, inclusivity, innovation and leadership in ourselves and others.
Theatrical Productions
“Bravo! A delight!” "I was totally blown away by your play - it was not what I was expecting at all and I thought it was brilliant.“ “Very topical subjects! “Great Play!” and “Loved it!” are just some of the comments we have received.
Mentoring Opportunities
As an integral part of our productions we offer mentoring opportunities for emerging theatre artists to work and train with the professionals on our teams because we believe that hands-on learning is a very important aspect of theatre training. We produce performance projects as well as readings of new works.
Classes & Workshops for Professional Development & Recreation
We also offer acting workshops and classes, both professional and recreational, to provide a training ground for emerging performers, community members who wish to explore their inner performer, and professionals who wish to build their presentation and communication skills. Our teachers are skilled professionals.
