The Sardine Room

Story

The Sardine Room offers a raw bar with pristinely fresh oysters and seafood, along with small and large plate menus featuring American bistro fare. A rotating chalkboard menu draws on seasonal, locally sourced products, keeping daily specials fresh and regional. These sections of the menu, along with contemporary bar snacks and sides, let our patrons dictate their dining experience. A meal can be constructed of any selection of snacks, sides, small plates, large plates, or raw bar items, providing an alternative to the formality of traditional ordering. Fresh crudos, artisanal country hams, and house made pates are served in whatever order the diner desires. Large plates such as kobe flat iron steak or bouillabaisse can be shared among a group or ordered as a meal unto themselves. Our culinary team prides itself on executing creative, honest food at reasonable prices.
Beyond the kitchen, our bar program features well prepared cocktails made with respectable spirits, and an emphasis on the classics. An eclectic, affordable wine list is offered alongside a michigan-heavy selection of craft beers.
With a design that walks the line between big city sophistication and prohibition-era Americana, The Sardine Room gives nod to the contemporary while evoking the spirit of speakeasies, jazz clubs and seaside dives of bygone eras. Located directly across the street from Kellogg park in downtown Plymouth, The Sardine Room welcomes all interested in a good drink, a good bite and a good time.

Awesome spot with great cocktails and food. Between drinks, a cheese plate, oysters, and the crab dip, no one in our party was disappointed with anything! The staff were friendly and really made the experience worthwhile. This place is a true gem, one I will definitely be returning to.
The happy hours are the best. My girlfriend and I devoured 24 raw oysters- cheat meal, not sorry- for 24$ total. Had the scallops for èntree. They were really exquisite. I would definitely recommend this place for a great garb and drinks and if you love oysters- seriously go visit it
Pretty good. Shrimp and grits was so spicy, I couldn't eat it. Good thing I was full from apps.
Fantastic as always. Haven't been in almost a year, but nice to see familiar bartender.
Nice small plates, drinks, great ambiance, and excellent service! The Mac and Cheese is some of the best I have ever had. Really impressed with this place, and the location right downtown Plymouth cannot be beat. Ample and free street parking, unlike Ann Arbor or Royal Oak.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing! It’s so beautiful and peaceful! Our waitress was very polite and she went above and beyond for our expectations!
Really good food. It is a bit loud in the restaurant though. Not great for intimate conversations.
We have been to the Sardine Room several times. It is very consistent. The food is good and the atmosphere is excellent. I would highly recommend checking it out.
