December 2024nnGood local thrift store supporting the community. Hired many team members during their transition in life. Great job.

This thrift store is great. I found some beautiful vases as you can see from the photo. It must be popular as there was a massive group of people waiting for it to open. I had one major issue though. I brought three vases and sadly wasn’t offered any sort of padding/wrapping to keep them safe, or any bag either. This meant I had a rather stressful journey home.

my personal fav salvation army to go to. staff are nice and the store is clean. very bright lighting but other than that very lovely thrift store. Prices could be a bit better for clothing but home items are solid.

I’ve been in this thrift store a number of times over the past few months as I’ve just moved to the area. It’s generally very clean, super organized and has quite a decent amount of stock - great for those who like me who love repurposing and supporting a good cause. I’ve also donated a few items and found the drop off area to be tidy and well staffed.nnUnfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back here as the level of hostility from the security team is quite ridiculous.nnOn my last visit, I was followed literally standing behind me by a security team member when I went to ask staff for help re: pricing for an item. I was followed to the team member and then followed back to the item which happened to be a lovely Christmas tree. I kindly asked him if I could help him with anything, but he mentioned he was just looking at the trees and started laughing ?. It made me feel really uncomfortable and creeped out.nnOn a previous visit, I watched a different security guard follow another woman a little too closely, to the point that she passed comment to another nearby shopper and promptly left.nnNow I understand, the team members are there to do a job and I’m sure there are issues with shoplifting but I think it’s a little too much. Customers need to be able to browse to buy things…

I’ve been a regular until the Manager decided to be extremely rude! It is a long story but I didn’t disrespect anyone or stole anything it was completely out of the blue! Even few of the people working there told me that yeaa this is how he is!!!
