The Salvation Army

I haven't had a whole lot of luck at this location. The thrift shop over on Fell Ave has a much better selection with better inventory (and even parking!). That being said, thrift shopping is more of a hunt than just shopping, so if you look hard enough there is deals to be found here. *Update - I've bumped up my original 2 star to a 3 after having better experiences as of late.

Turn around for items is really quick so it's a hit or miss by the day.i find great stuff for starting an office or projects room here.

ONLY CLOTHES AND ELECTRONICS CAN BE RETURNED. Lesson I learned today. I hope this should also be posted near the cashier or on the door of the store so customers will know. I bought a toy which was in a box and was taped so I didn't bother to open thinking that I can return it. Price in the box was 12+ and the store priced it as 6.99 so I thought it's in good condition basing it on the price. Went home, checked it and got disappointed because it was garbage you can't play with it. Went back to return only to be told I can't. Argued with the cashier but she said it's store policy. So even if it's taped and looks new open and check it. To the guy who said I was holding up the line sorry. Hope u don't buy anything that is not worth your money and can't return it. This was my first return so I did not know u can't return toys. And usually when you pay they tell you if it's final sale.
