Refreshingly pleasant surprise of a dining experience in Oswego, NY. Well trained & attentive professional staff. Uniquely exquisite views from the whole restaurant & 2 outdoor rooftop patios. Upscale cocktail program & well made drinks. Very tasty fare. Raved about the duck dumplings. Ahi tuna was just a touch over-done & too firm. Reservations recommended. Great for water & sunset views. I’ll 100% be back.
Totally enjoyed our visit here. The staff Adam was attentive and professional. His service was very good. The food was delicious as were the drinks. Plenty of choices on the menu in perfect proportions. The outside patio was comfy and the views were great ! Headed back in a few weeks.
This was an amazing experience! The food was sensational! We are from Tampa/Saint Pete, where we have some pretty bougie restaurants. The service was above excellent and Sue was a true multitasking professional. We were a party of 8 and she aced every second! She takes great pictures too! Don’t be discouraged by the small plate dinner menu. The appetizers are NOT small plate. We left above satisfied and full. The cocktails are amazing and the touch with the fruit in the jars versus plastic containers gave the bar a look of exceptional class! The prices are not gouging you like many upscale restaurants. If and when I go back to Oswego, this place is first on the list. Thank you Roof Top for our complimentary birthday champagne. Three birthdays and an animated crew. Handled with perfection. The flight of bourbon for my hubby was a super hit! I am a picky lady and I was blown away!!!
The food was very good, the place was very cute and most importantly the staff was above and beyond amazing. Everyone was so genuinely kind and attentive, really making this a solid first experience. The only thing we didn't love is that we came to listen to music and the set up of the place kind of made it hard to be able to enjoy the entertainment but other than that, we were pleasantly surprised with how much we liked the vibes.
Atmosphere is fantastic. Staff are accommodating and beyond pleasant. Food was divine. Only regret is not taking a picture of ceasar salad, which was beautiful! Absolutely worth a visit. Friends and I were provided a champagne toast as we were celebrating a birthday. An excellent evening - already looking forward to my next Rooftop experience!
I wish I had more photos to share. I visit Oswego once a month, and there are many wonderful places to eat depending on your taste and mood, but the Rooftop Lounge is a "must" each and every trip. The location is beautiful and the view spectacular; the drinks are innovative the Margarita Flight is outstanding! and the food is Tapas/Small Plates ... but that makes for great sharing with friends. Everything I have ordered has surpassed expectations. Presentation alone is instagram-worthy. I will be visiting again shortly and I have already made my reservations for my next two trips. Lastly, the mood is FESTIVE, patrons are HAPPY to be there and there is a feeling of celebration! I was almost hesitant to write this review, because I know one of these days, I will not be able to get a reservation.... it will be THAT popular!
Went here for the first time. Great cocktail menu and a great place to go before heading to a larger dinner or a good spot for small plates. Recommended to a few staff there that a small plate of Brussel sprouts or cauliflower would be a good addition since the only veggie on the menu is salad. Or even a veggie board with hummus. Few different options. Went to one place that incorporated cauliflower with Greek yogurt, mint, and pomegranate and I think that type of dish would be great here ! Recommend the spiked eggnog, negroni, or a Manhattan.
We took my mom here for a birthday celebration on a Saturday and it was the first time for all of us, but definitely not our last! Everything was top notch, from the hostess who greeted us at the ground floor and escorted us up the elevator to our table to our wonderful server Olivia to the delicious and abundant food and drink which was priced right! We were even treated to a complimentary champagne toast for the birthday girl! Don't let the small plates and tapas style of the Rooftop Lounge deter you from checking them out. Everything was delicious and we all left their stuffed and happy. You can't beat the view either. I was born and raised in Oswego and it took me 50 years and this special place to see some of the most beautiful views of my hometown! Be sure to make a reservation and prepare to have a wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other offerings!
Amazing views to the North, East and West. Great restaurant high above Oswego, NY. Fun vibe and fun late night stop before or after eating dinner downtown. A great way to compliment an evening out.
My mom and I came here during their soft opening period and found an inviting space, fantastic drinks, and quality food. Come prepared to relax and enjoy! Take our advice - order one course at a time, share with your party, and take your time. It will be an enjoyable evening.
