Amazing night with a memorable experience. You walk into ambience which light you up. The amount of variety you have with food , vegetarian and vegan as well is a standard of excellence. " Good things take time" and please enjoy your drinks and when the foods do arrive , please relish and favor those flavors. We enjoyed a night out and full tummy with palatable food. One of the best Indian Restaurant I have tried in several years. Very nice ambiance, great customer service and attentive staff! Chef made many innovative and modern recipes and they were all delicious! Presentation was superb. Rolling Rolls will definitely be our stop for food while we are around Canmore area or just passing through Canmore.
Really nice space. Love the lighting and the green velvet. The service was excellent and exceptionally friendly; they took the time to ask about ourselves, as well as chat about where they’re from, how long they’ve been in Canada, and the region of India that the cuisine comes from northern. My partner has the mango mule, which we really liked. We shared the crispy cauliflower excellent and a bit spicy, and I tried the malai chicken kathi roll. It was very good. Filling, but not too heavy. My partner had the egg roll and also really enjoyed it.
What is an amazing experience! Not only was the food. Absolutely delicious authentic but the stuff and environment were so perfectly matched. It made our night absolutely magical. I attended a wedding lunch here. The whole restaurant was reserved and an eleven course meal was served. The staff was very attentive and accommodated changes to timing on short notice which was very appreciated as it decreased stress on the bride and groom. Beautiful decor, comfortable seating, and wonderful staff. The food was AMAZING! The dishes just kept getting better and better from the fried spinach, to the butter chicken, and the saffron crème brûlée. Couldn't have asked for a better venue at which to celebrate.
Came in at Sunday night, not too busy and we are immediately being greeted by host. It is a Family dinner, we ordered couple of appetizers before happy hour ended. The avocado yogurt one of the best, I forgot the name. all members in my family love this dish. The share size curry chicken taste amazing, fresh chicken, nicely cooked, the sauce of curry is probably one of the best I have tried so far. It is not super traditional, but we love it a lot. We are regretting only ordered 1 nan , we should go for extra portion to finish the last drop of the curry sauce Butter chicken bao is very special and yummy, we didn’t use the sauce since the sauce on the chicken is good enough. I would say the portion of the dish might be on light side since I am a petite Asisan and I still craving for more after finish all dishes. But the chief is very talented to cook all dishes to fit my appetite, I might be craving more than I need. They cook their own nan instead of buy from grocery store, I would recommend you try it no matter what dish you order. One of the best Morden Indian Food in town.
There are so many things to love about The Roaring Rolls. The food was delicious, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The service was great and the servers were kind and friendly. To top off the experience, the ambiance was delightful. Also, the interior is stunning. To start, the atmosphere of the bistro was outstanding. Our server, Rieshma, was very helpful with the selection of our dishes. We ordered the crispy cauliflower that could almost convert me to a vegetarian. In addition we ordered the kadhai chicken and Murg Makhanwala bowl paired with garlic naan and roti. The kadhai chicken stood out the most with amazing flavour and perfect amount of spice. The amazing food with equally amazing service deserves well over 5 stars. Best dining experience of my trip so far!
We’re vegetarian and ordered the fried tapioca balls, the lentil curry and vegetable curry. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. You can tell the cooks have a lot of pride in the food they serve. There was only one waiter but he was very friendly and I never felt rushed while ordering. Highly highly recommend!
We are a group of 4 people visiting from Montreal. I had saved this restaurant in my list to try out based on the reviews and OMG it didn't disappoint. We had just completed a long hike in the Banff national park area and called ahead to book, the earliest they could accommodate us was at 8pm so we took that. The couple who run this place are so young and passionate about their culinary offerings. We tried multiple dishes and they were all delicious but some were incredibly multilayered with flavors that we decided we will have to visit every day until we leave. So do yourself a favor, try this place if you're in the area.
