My forays have sent me to or through Hood River quite frequently this spring, and I have stopped in the River City Saloon for meals twice. and a refreshing adult beverage an additional two times, and I love it.  Food is consistently good with the occasional extra sparkle (got a great mushroom soup special one day), but it's the great people and general atmosphere of... well, atmosphere... that will keep bringing me back.  It's cozy and old school cool, and I'll take accrued personality over instant elegance any day of this week or next.

This place is fantastic! The only Denver Broncos bar in Hood River :) great food, great service, and exceptional live music. Great spot to check out while in town!

Love River City!   The food is super good (try the Veggie burger!), the staff are very friendly respectful and attentive, the tapped beers are on point, the $1 Hamms are very appreciated, there's often great live music, and the pool table is legit!   Love River City and hope it's here for many more years to come!

We have the place to ourselves. Very friendly, not overbearing and rude. Staff was very friendly, engaging and attentive. Will soo come back
