This place is SO FUN! My partner and I went here last week for our anniversary, and we really didn’t want the average expensive dinner date. This place combines class and recreation effortlessly; with the staff being super fun and engaging, and food being superb. Only bummer was half the arcade games kept losing internet connection, so once we’d played all the connected ones, it felt useless waiting around for staff to fix the rest. I’m not even sure if they were doing that either. Also, you must have closed in shoes for bowling, yet they have pairs for hire behind the counter, but won’t let you use them. We thought that was so stupid, covid is gone with the wind now, and there’s no social distancing, cleaning of the games for hygiene per use, and no masks, yet we can’t use the shoes? So that meant no bowling for us because I was wearing sandals. Otherwise, it was a great evening. We stuck to the pin pong tables majority of the night.
Love this place for a great spot to spend the night with family, friends, date night etc. Most games are reasonably priced, and ticket payouts are good, although some are definitely not so good. You just have to watch the cost and payouts. Drinks and food are very good, and reasonably priced as well, and of course they do free refills on pop so you stay nice and sugared up and keep playing! The one thing we really don't like is the odds of many of the games are terrible here compared to other Rec Rooms. Probably why they aren't as busy. For example the ball drop can't be won, compared to the other Rec Rooms, the cup rotates faster and the timer counts down faster. Or the bean bag toss, compared to other Rec Rooms can't be beat, they only have 5 bags, less time allowed, the machine tilts so easy if you even lean on it, and the conveyor stops before the time is up. I could give more examples but you get the idea. Always remember, they track all of the machines and adjust them to make it harder to win. Also the prizes aren't as good at this location.
This place is great. Lots of fun games for adults and kids. Although my group didn't go for food or drinks, the menu looks awesome. Most games were in working order and everyone was civil to each other when waiting their turn. Not that it's this location's fault, but I put $30 on two cards in the downtown Toronto location and when I tried to use them here, they were "invalid". Now I have to dig up receipts and contact the Toronto location and see what's up...
My wife and I went here for a date night. The vegan and vegetarian options at the restaurant was really impressive. We got seated at the bar because all the tables were reserved but the huge TV’s on the wall, live music and the bar staff made our first visit super fun. After our drinks, meal and desert we played some video games, ping pong and even tried our luck at the giant claw machine. This was a fun night and I think we will go back again some night after 11pm when it’s just for the adults.
Celebrated my brother's 10th birthday there. There was tons of entertainment, the server was extremely nice and helpful, and the food was pretty good. It's a really nice place and I definitely recommend not just for birthday parties but also just to have fun! Update: Went again just for fun, and again, it was amazing. Super fun, and rewarding.
This place is awesome...great ambience....loads of games to have fun....food is delicious specially their burgers are delight...chicken burger must try....fish and chips is yum...can try sangria too...staff is welcoming.... overall a good place to have fun with friends on weekends.
Each person needs their own gaming card. We got 2 gaming cards and loaded 35 $ worth of credits to each and after all the fees it was about 86$ for 2 of us to play games. Every game is tap and uses wifi so alot of the games kept loosing connection and some just wernt working at all. After playing games thete was a 20 minute wait for our table to get food. The food came fairly quick and we were happy with taste and portion. We really enjoyed the calamari ! The food pricing was average to any other restauraunt. Our dinner bill for 1 app and 2 entrees no drinks came to around 55$ so for gaming and eating for the 2 of us it was around $140. Not a cheap night out but fun for a special occasion Parking: Large free parking lot
OMG what a blast. NOT a place for anyone with sensory issues, just fyi. That needs to be a warning, due to constant noise and flashing lights. Also, WEEKEND DINNER RESERVATIONS ARE MADE 1-2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Don't just walk in for dinner. This place is a HOT SPOT and very in demand for Friday/Saturday nights. Dinner was great. Games were so fun. Place is kept very clean. Workers are walking around and fairly easily found if there's an issue. Definitely a great night out or a fun afternoon for the fam. Vegetarian options: I had the crispy tofu bowl. There were other options, but this was well done.
The premises was clean, and the arcade was nice. Food was good. Some staff were decent, some were great, and some were ignorant. Large party of people on a Saturday night. Manager was great. Bowling alley is a bit dangerous. The couch seating on the right most bowling lane abut's a bar height table top that is a head hazard for patrons sitting. One of our group was struck the back of her head on the bar height table top while sitting down. Ended the night unceremoniously. Should probably be corrected to prevent future injury.
Went for a date day. Not as big as the location in Toronto but that’s alright. Still stayed for about 2 hours. Had the bowling area all to ourselves which was great no one can witness how bad I am did not stay for food but saw that they had a snack section and a sit down section. We still have credits on our cards so definitely will return.
