The Portsmouth Tavern

Fantastic Lil gem! My husband and I are in the area for a few days, and took the opportunity to enjoy the historic atmosphere at the Ports! We both had the steak cheese melt...YUMMY!!!! Cheers Larry and staff!

Great place for socializing… friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The Specials for the day are always the best. The portions are amazing and very yummy.

Wow! Amazing place. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We wanted to change something in our burger and they did it immediately. We tried their famous PKBurger and fish-n-fries/chips. Both were superb, delicious, mouthwatering and great. I highly recommend this place. Update Aug. 2022: we went there with my parents. I tried Mushrooms Mozza and it was great. My parents loved its environment and the gentleman who worked there.

Had the wings they were tasty the beer was nice and cold good service and good friends as well. Indeed give the place a try because we saw a number of other good looking dishes being served. Makes me definitely want to go back and try them all !!!

Karaoke night is the best time you can have here and this is truly a local bar. I may be a bit biased as this is the first place my wife and I went on a date, forty years ago, but I really like this bar. The Manor may be gone, but the Ports lives on!

The food was excellent and the prices were super fair. Our server was super friendly and the service was great. I definitely recommend to any foodies out there. We will definitely be back!

Quick service with great food. We didn't initially know any of it's historical significance until we did some tours of Kingston like the trolley and penitentiary tours and learned of the tavern.

My wife brought me here for the first time and I love it!!! Great cozy atmosphere, the food is great and the staff is so friendly! Great view of the waterfront as well.
