The Pittsfield Cooperative Bank

I WAS a long term customer of the Pittsfield Coop. I had my home mortgage and business line of credit with them and always content. One day I called Julie Coy, the head of business lending, to ask some questions about rates. After asking my questions, so I could make an informed decision about whether to advance my line of credit, I thanked her and continued to write down information before I hung up. She obviously thought she hung up her phone when she started to say disparaging things about me to another employee in her presence, without realizing I could hear her whole conversation. I called her back, called her superiors, and all they did was brush it under the rug. The lesson here: they are dishonest, nice to your face, but talk negatively behind your back. There is no integrity, they tell you they are going to deal with it, yet no follow ups or apologizes for their unprofessional behavior. They are not good ole family banking as they would suggest, pick another bank, or watch your back.
