New residents of the city and now with Covid seemingly over we are on the hunt for a favorite go to restaurant .First time here and arrived around 6 with people already waiting to be seated. We decided to wait at the bar and was almost immediately approached by Pam and she proceeded to offer us a booth...wait over :.We ordered buffalo wings for an app and they were awesome juicy and saucy with a kick.We both had a burger for our main and same thing .Meat was juicy and excellent flavor. My only complaint would be a few more fries would be nice but they were good as well.Our server Pam and another lady keep checking on us and were great .We will return to try more items on the menu.
Our service and food was fantastic. Food was fresh and hot and presented so well. Our server was there when we needed her and very patient when we were not sure what to order. Oh and the pickles are an awesome touch!! Spicy pickles are very yummy.Food: 5/5
There was no problem with seating and the hostess is very nice, or waitress was also very kind. Now to the food I ordered the parmesan chicken and it was disappointing. No flavor had to add salt,it wasnt great but added something to it . The sauce wasnt great either. The meatloaf also was nothing to be excited for, also missing some flavor to it. The only thing I really enjoyed was the sweet tea. I'm not planning to go back any time soon.
I would say the food is pleasantly good. Not high end or special occasion style, more of a better quality sports bar. I had their standard burger last time and it was excellent, clearly made on site and no fillers. My partner loves their french onion soup. Go here with confidence for casual dining or a group celebration. Good selection of beer and cocktails, a bit less so for wine. Pricing is reasonable.

Watching game 7 Leafs Lightning game over Garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette + Chicken Parm perfectly cooked cheese bubbling not burnt with Linguine. All washed down with a couple of Stella's!
Excellent service, friendly, helpful,and timely. Delicious food at a reasonable price. A complimentary dessert to share was a pleasant surprise! And we were not pressured to leave immediately after our meal was done. A comfortable, cozy atmosphere to spend a few hours with family or friends around some good food. The food here was decent, but definitely not reflective of the pricing. Seemed like nobody was in here but somehow the service was still slow and sub par. We had 5 people dining and 3 of us got our meals well before the rest of our party. We had to remind the wait staff to get the drinks we ordered, and the bar didn't know what a rye and coke was. Don't think we'll be back. EDIT: After my previous 1-star review above, the manager reached out to us about our experience. She was committed to rectifying the situation and invited us to give this location another chance. 2 months later, we went for our second visit to this Pickle Barrel, and I had to change my review. Our server, Nadia, was extremely personable and eager to ensure our satisfaction. She was knowledgeable of the menu and our dinner service was executed perfectly. The food was incredible and served promptly, and our party had an excellent time. Thanks to the staff for creating a fantastic customer experience, we will see you again.
I've heard great things about this restaurant, unfortunately I had a bad experience with takeout. Pasta was not fully cooked, and next to no sauce and the salad was just some chopped up Roman lettuce. I'll definitely have to come in sometime, based off the photos it looks like the foods ussually awesome!
