Story

Situated directly southwest of Yonge and Queens Quay intersection and east of The Weston hotel.

We have been running for the past two years as a professional service that provides transportation to and from the Toronto Islands. We go directly to Ward's Island, Centre Island and Hanlan's Point.

We also offer tours around the lake and through the Toronto Islands as well.

We operate on a daily basis, not on a fixed schedule. Please call us in advance to book a tour of Lake Ontario or the Toronto Islands. We offer service to other locations as well, but the price varies.

They saved us from the ferry ride back. We were lucky to have a private ride back. They have the best kids prices available $5 each. They did take longer than promised but made up for it with a discount. The experience was amazing. The sailor was great. We loved it and will definately do it again. This will be our new mode of transportation to center island.
I've spoken with Sean from thr Otter guy taxi. I was signed up to complete the SVOP course with their company. However, they didn't have enough people at the time to completely fill the course. As such, the two people I signed up requested a refund of their $600 dollar deposit and received the amount in full. I have requested the same refund, and spoke with Sean who said he would take care of the matter. However, since emailing him. I have yet to receive a response since ju e. I have attempted to call and however, they are simply not answering my phone calls. I have followed up on the emails I've initially sent without a response. To date, I have provided them $600 dollars and have not received any services from them. BEWARE OF THEIR SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES.
Not sure if they are running a water taxi or the professional line up olympics but it seems the utter incompetence that is running this operation cannot really be accurately measured. From the initial "we are taking a quick service break... " 45 minuets ago... to seeing all of thier boats not running to the employees flat out lying about the status of what's happening becasues they either don't know or are just not communicating with each other...it seems like no one wants to tell anyone what is really going on and everyone is satisfied for the "status quo". This service is horrible... would not recommend... T-dot water taxi seems to be running much more smoother across the way... would take that instead...
Hands down the worst water taxi company in Toronto. They regularly speed in the harbour resulting in a near-sinking last week, never sound their horn leaving their Yonge Street slip or from Ward's dock, they haven't followed covid 19 rules from the start, even running tourists to the island when the island was shut down last summer to all non essential passengers. They routinely strand passengers and they're operation base is a hideous eyesore. *Some* of their drivers and staff are really nice and helpful, but that is offset by the others who are rude and or dismissive. Save yourself the trouble and go with the Toronto Harbour Water Taxi company based out of York Street slip. They've been doing it the longest and best.
Amazing service! Unforgettable experience, way better than just using ferry! Their drivers are the most funny and friendly people you ever met. A special thanks to Olga, our amazing driver who made that trip so great! 100% recommend
Great service. Everyone was friendly and helped us with our stuff. We waited less than 5 min for a boat that had us there a lot faster than the ferry and with much less stress and crowds. Totally worth the extra couple of bucks. The only way I’ll travel to the island from now on!
