The Olde Bakery Cafe

Came here for a brunch with my partner while in the area.nParking is easy- street parking which was free when we went. There are signs.nThe space is well decorated and has a great coffee house vibe.nWe seated ourselves and though the server was busy she did get to us in a timely manner.nWe ordered chai tea lattes- mine was a bit watered down which sucked. I didn’t complain about it though. My partner enjoyed his.nThe breakfast however was phenomenal. Homemade bread was so tasty & the way they season their home fries is out of this world. I had the cheese omelette. My partner had the eggs benny and it appears the English muffins were home made as was the sauce. All of it was exceptional and I would highly recommend coming here. If I lived nearby I’d have loved to come try some of their lunch items.nThey have a vast array of baked goods, but we didn’t try any.nnIt’s a cozy nook to tuck away while enjoying good baked items or a meal.

Lovely spot with a nice location and cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there are a couple of patios outside that make it great for a relaxed visit.nnThe freshly baked bread is clearly popular, it tends to sell out quickly, so it’s best to go early. The Mediterranean bowl also seems to be a customer favorite, and it looked fresh and well put together.nnHowever, the mini tiramisu felt a bit overpriced at $5. The taste and quality didn’t quite justify the cost.

Been ordering baked goods for two years now for birthdays and very impressed with the quality and care. Yes what you order is expensive but the detail, quality and portion sizes are justified. Time is spent on repeating quality every time.

This place is awesome It's like stepping back in time or in a scene of a Hallmark movie. I loved this cool little place, but the Breakfast was delicious The Baked goods are soooo good, visit this place you will not be disappointed..

Stopped by here after a morning at the Elmhurst Inn Spa and super glad I did - what an adorable little cafe! I ordered their breakfast and latte - what a spread! I gave 4 stars for the food because the bacon and sausage tasted as though they were microwaved which I am not a fan of - regardless, it was still a wholesome and yummy meal along with great service and a lovely atmosphere.
