Amazing hand made baked goods! Their breads are hands down the best I've tasted in the city to date. Their pastries are second to none. I would highly recommend this bakery for its local and Irish flare! Everything from homemade breads to pastries and everything in-between. This establishment is truly a delight to frequent.
While on holiday in St John's my friend Caroline brought me there. The most fabulous fare I've tasted in a long time. From the all butter tarts to the delicious breads..oh my Lord. Just fabulous.. Wish Toronto had a bakery like this one and Kevin is great to chat with. We both being Irish was great to chat with someone from home. A+.. on everything.
Best bakery I have ever visited and had in my 45 years of life. I fell in love with the banoffee tarts and apple turnovers. Then I discovered the bread, the best!! The cheese challah is fluffy and heaven in my mouth. I refused to share this precious bread with anyone!! I am not a greedy person, but this glorious bread is a no-no!! Thanks, for entering my life Old Dubin Bakery, I can't wait to visit you again!
One of my favourite spots in town. Everything is handmade with love, and the quality is extremely high. Speciality items from Ireland often on the menu. Get a pastry, a banoffie tart, and the challah! You will not be disappointed.
Greeted by the owner. Helpful courteous staff. Bit pricey but definitely worth if. Owner was present on my departure and thanked me for stopping by and for the business. A definite must.
Get in early before it's all gone! No joke, there is real danger of them selling out all the time. I think that's a good thing, if the food wasn't as good as it is they wouldn't sell as much!
YUM! This space is beautiful and the treats are to die for! Get there early, no one's sleeping on the Old Dublin Bakery.
Delicious, fresh, homemade breakfast. We were on our way to a different location for breakfast and noticed this place. So glad we stopped and changed our plans. The sandwich and pastries were delicious! Clearly freshly made. And the cafe is run by a family who couldn't be more friendly. Highly recommend- although they probably sell out quick so go early.
The owner is quite rude, I simply asked if he could cut a scone in half for me and he asked me if i wanted him to eat it too. Not exactly a welcoming attitude, i’ll go somewhere else.
Haven’t tried much here yet, but the cheese loaf and the almond croissant were delicious!
