Just had the most delicious breakfast bagel and tea at this charming little Cafe. Staff were wonderful, kind and on top of the flow! The food was super yummy as well. While we sat inside to eat, I noticed there are a number of regulars who come and are greeted happily. They get their meals and get settled and read a book or socialize. Can't wait to come back when the weather is warm to sit on the beautiful porch patio to people watch, enjoy a tea and a sandwich.
We stopped in the village of Lakefield for lunch and shopping. The sandwiches were freshly prepared and delicious. The buttertart was also good. The latte I was disappointed with, because it was weak and there was cinnamon put on top. I had specifically asked for no cinnamon and I spoke up and said that I had not wanted cinnamon. I wasn’t offered a new latte for the mistake, or even acknowledged that my preference was ignored. The service was friendly, but a bit disorganized and it wasn’t clear where we should wait for our orders. We made ourselves at home and sat on the patio to enjoy our food. Overall a great spot, I would just recommend that staff listen to the orders before making them to ensure customer satisfaction.
We went there for breakfast. You have to order and pay for your meals before entering the dining area. The dining area was hidden behind closed curtains so you can't really see what the place looks like until you pay for your meals tip included!. Limited food options, especially for vegetarians. You also have to order your condiments when you place your order, which I found very strange, as if they operating on very tight budget. We got the food quite quickly though! The food portions were so small, considering the price you pay for the meals. I ordered the breakfast wrap with a cappuccino. Both were so small as if its for kids serving. My son's waffles were very hard. At the end of the meal I was still hungry, experience wasn't great. I really hope they improve and deliver more value to their customers in future..

Took a road trip to Lakefield and stopped at this lovely little cafe for lunch. Had the club sandwich with salad and it was so tasty and delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Really glad we chose this place and would highly recommend!
Fantastic cafe in Lakefield. I visited with my wife on the weekend. I had the burger and soup. My wife had the soup. Both were incredibly tasty! Service was also super friendly and helpful. Restaurant is very COVID friendly with smart precautions. Definite recommend!
Great food. Friendly service. A bit pricey but not bad. Gf thought her bagel was a bit too nutty flavoured for a BLT. Would return if I was in the area again. Dietary restrictions: They were good about a milk allergy. They have soy milk.
Dog friendly workers makes this place a 10 In my books … the coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but the food was very good.

Breakfast and Coffee, this is one of the best place to get a very good quality breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price in nearby Peterborough. Very local atmosphere gives comfortable and cosy feeling every time visit here. A gem in Lakefield.
