The Niblick Bar and Grill

We only had drinks but prices were reasonable and the service was fast.

I had never been to the niblick and was very excited to try the food as I had heard it was fantastic food. We went there to watch the packer game and get a bite to eat. The place was empty except for about 15 of us watching the game at about 2 tables. No one was at the bar except for the bartender. No one was eating except for our group. There was no one to table to get drink orders so we continually had to go to the bar which was okay but with a bigger party should have someone available to bring drinks in my opinion. We started ordering food and food was coming out very slow. Nachos took an hour to come out. Fries were cold. Eventually the waitress came out and said the cook wouldn't beable to accommodate the party unless we were willing to wait an hour and a half because of how busy it was. There were maybe 20 people in the place total and only 7 more people were ordering food. She stated that the cook was busy and kitchen is small and he is the only one there. Soooooo...... we packed up and gave our business to Hugo's pizza Food did look really good at niblicks but the service was less than a 1 !!! I was very bummed to have this happen because I am from Ashland and love seeing places like this succeed. Unfortunately I won't be back and I doubt the other people will be either which are from Ashland I really hope this place gets some staff on duty because the food looked great !!!

They host my employer's Christmas party and did an outstanding job! Will have to check it out some night soon.

Incredible food! Friday night fish fry is terrific.
