I stopped by for lunch recently. Ordered the zucchini fries and the halibut fish n chips. Zucchini fries was OK. The halibut was fine as well. The coleslaw was really good tho.

Went to watch a World Cup match here. Beer was cold, environment was cozy, owner and staff were really nice and the other patrons were amazing! Absolutely brilliant experience. Will definitely be back.

This place is great!  Good food and good drinks, but what truly makes it special is the bartender Paul.  Such a nice young man, who's customer service skills are unmatched.

Cozy pub on two floors. Fish and chips halibut was good.  European brews and one American but alas no Canadian brews! Decent service. Typical downtown/midtown pub prices

Friendly, professional, and always welcoming.  The monks has always been my go-to when I'm in need of a drink and a social gathering. The food is amazing, and above all the staff, always willing to go the extra mile.
