Great and lively bar with good drinks and amazing live music playing a mix of classic and pop hits. Had lots of fun here!

Was recommended this spot by a friend so decided to check it out. The place was dead on a Friday night. Terrible service both upstairs and down. I had ordered a drink and the bartender walked over to the server and just started having a conversation. Completely ignored my order. The service upstairs was even worse. Would not recommend. Save your cover charge and go to any other bar than here.

Attended a sports after party at the Martini Bar last week and was really impressed! A nice modern club, with quick bartenders and an excellent DJ. First time visiting, and it was definitely an impressive club experience for Newfoundland. I'd definitely recommend this spot for people looking for a club vibe!

Since I moved out to Newfoundland, I have had a chance to visit George St. 8 or 9 times thanks to a nice vacation from work. The Martini bar is a great spot to go to. The cocktails are unreal - the Blueberry Cocktail is a standout. Regular drinks are pretty affordable, and they have a mix of typical club tunes and live music. The live bands are always unreal, and I haven't had a bad experience here yet. It usually doesn't get too packed, and even when it does, its not too bad.

The Monday martini special was a steal. Tried one of each and they were all delicious. The bartender who served us didn't catch her name was good at her job and friendly.

Caught Signal Hill Friday night...was awesome. Danced till close. Waitresses are fantastic...you should em pouring ar the bar.

Sat at the bar & had a beer on Canada Day. Nice location, quite busy. Sadly management didn’t organize enough staff. Overheard that they called a bartender in last minute to work. There were two younger girls that were working- quite slow for the amount of people on the patio, due to inexperience which is understandable.

Popular spot. Mostly upbeat 80s music. Very nice outdoor seating on George Street for sunny afternoons. Buckets of beer. Specialty drinks. No food. Wish they had pub food or something.

Terrible service, each time I try and give this bar a go the service just keeps getting worse. Love the music downstairs and the overall atmosphere but waiting 30 mins + for a drink is shameful, considering I’m paying a cover just to stand waiting to order. Might need more workers, or a new system so everyone can be served, I was waiting respectfully and felt ignored for so long it was almost comical, while the bartender served rambunctious/rude guests arriving to the bar after I. idk just doesn’t make sense, terrible experience. I regret spending my time waiting as long as I was. Felt like I was spending money on cover just to sober up

Good location and nice patio but that is about it... It’s a cocktail bar, yet half the cocktails on the list are not available due to one ingredient or another not being available!? Don’t try to go off menu either, apparently a Long Island Iced Tea is too complicated It would seem to be a staffing problem as the bartender didn’t know what a G’n’T is!?
