A great place to explore the history of Winnipeg, from prehistoric times through the 1920s and into more recent years.nIt’s neither too big nor too small — for adults, it’s about a 2–3 hour visit.nThere’s a wide variety of exhibits to see, including dinosaurs, bears, Inuit culture, and more.
Really enjoyed my visit to the Manitoba Museum. The exhibits are interesting and well done, and it’s easy to spend a few hours just exploring and learning as you go. It’s a great spot for all ages and a nice way to spend time in the city. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
I love this museum. It is good for all ages, with a good mix of visual, interactive, and written components. You could take a 7 or 70 year old here and they would like it. A small downside on that though is there is an unfortunate amount of kids who don't know how to behave in a museum there. Running and playing, being noisy and distracting with no effort to correct it. I have gone here since i was that little and i never behaved like that, and if i did it would have been corrected. I do recommend coming here though! You can come here countless times and see new or new to you things. Like this picture of the Baritone Saxophone attached. As a bari sax player, it made my day to see that.
Fun as always. Great displays. Tons of information. Don't forget to see touch the universe and the non-such boat. First Friday of every month is free!
I loved this museum. Went there for only 45 minutes but I had an amazing experience. I has the opportunity to be in a tour guided by people from the indigenous community and that was the highlight of the night. They were very nice knowledgeable. I feel like a learn a lot from them and would like to keep doing it.
