A must stop if going past/through Cobden! Stopped here on the way home from Algonquin park. The treats were EXCELLENT. We ordered a butter tart and a lemon tart and they were so melt in your mouth exceptional that we had to get more we normally don’t buy desserts and then we also bought cookies which were delicious and incidentally learned that all treats have won awards this year! Coffee was great too and service was fast. Only downside is that there was no bathroom so we had to go up the road to use one at the garage. This really should be amended as traveller’s usually stop because they need a bathroom break and I wouldn’t want them to lose clients because of this as they really have a special little cafe.
I always stop in when passing through Cobden. Great food and coffee, super friendly service, and faster than sitting in a drive-through. Another customer suggested I try the canoli, and I'm glad I listened: they're delicious!
Must stop here in Cobden. Even if you're just passing through. Wonderful baking, coffee owners and staff. Prices are excellent too.Food: 5/5
The staff were friendly, and the owner was there right with the other staff working behind the counter. The drink selection is surprisingly large with what felt like a dozen different flavors for lattes alone. They had a selection of gluten free baked goods to choose from. I had the coffee cake, and I was convinced I ate something I shouldn't have the texture was so incredible and the taste amazing. I highly recommend this little place to any passer by. It's worth the little detour off the highway.
This place is amazing! We got 2 regular coffees, Apple fritters, chocolate curler, danish, and peanut butter cookie. Coffee was awesome and I’m soooo glad we ended up buying 2 fritters because they are hands down the best we’ve had. All the baked goods were incredible! Fresh, not too sweet or heavy and just plain delicious. Not to mention, the lady who served us was amazing and super nice. We travel highway 17 often and this will be a regular stop we will make in the future since it’s 2 min off the main route! Support local! This place is worth it
This coffee shop is an incredible hidden gem tucked away in Cobden. Both the coffee and wide variety of baked goods are incredible, and the prices are criminally low! Additionally, the staff are incredibly friendly. I seriously cannot comprehend how anyone could leave a negative review on this place. This is easily the best coffee shop that I have experienced in the entire Ottawa Valley! You absolutely owe it to yourself to stop in if you are driving through. My only complaint is their hours often don't align with my schedule - if they did I would absolutely be a daily customer.
Irene and Melissa are truly amazing people. They bring such joy and goodness to the Region. Their treats are absolutely delicious especially their famous cannolis! They do so much to support their community.
Cutest little ice cream shop! Convenient sidewalk window. Covid-friendly. Great service, tons of variety and four year old approved! Just off thr highway in the town of Cobden. Easy to pull off and right back on if you're heading down 17.
Great coffee shop with good quality coffee. I’m glad we stopped in and tried their freshly baked treats. Worth the short detour from HWY 17.
Do not be fooled: this place is not a coffee shop. They have donuts and they might more appropriately be called a donut shop. When I ordered a latte, the barista appeared to not know what that was. It turns out she did not know what a latte was. Because I got a cup of black coffee with one pump of flavor in it and she told me I could add the milk myself at the counter by the window. Save yourself the trouble and take three dollars and simply throw it out the window instead of stopping here.
