Highly recommend! Saw the sign on Highway 17 as we were driving through Cobden - decided to detour, and it was well worth it. We were lucky enough to snag the last item left for the day, a cinnamon bun. Perfect warm snack for a fall road trip, the car smelled amazing and it did not last long.
Can I just say how amazing everything is! The bakery is so beautiful and cozy! The treats are exceptionally delicious and there is always a wide selection of items to choose from. I stopped by today to try a chocolate muffin and they were handing out grilled cheese samples. Can I just say WOW and I am DROOLING over how amazing they were. I can’t wait to get in line when they start offering grilled cheese’ : That sourdough bread with the cheese all melted and gooey YUUMMM
We got one loaf of cranberry and orange sour dough and a raisin loaf and 4 scones. The scones were very tasty and the bread was out of this world. Highly recommend stopping there to get your fix of sourdough breads. They also have great cupcakes too
Stopped in on Easter Sunday after having incredible recommendations by family in the area. Even if you aren’t local this place is worth the drive! Lovely people staff in a cute spot with beyond delicious baked goods. We suggest the cinnamon buns and tarts! YUM. You won’t be disappointed.
Stopped here to grab lunch while waiting for a minor hockey game to start. Glad we found this gem! They should charge admission to enter the store just to smell the cinnamon buns baking. Not kidding. The bread is outstanding. They have all kinds of baked goods. My girlfriend and I ordered grilled cheese sandwiches which were amazing. Best I’ve ever had. They also serve great coffee. Friendly service as well. Next time I go to Algonquin Park, I’m going to swing by here for a snack and coffee. So, so good.
Smelled fantastic when I went in. I had been misinformed by a friend that there were gluten free options however that is not the case. I was told that everything had gluten in it. I purchased blueberry scones which my family told me were really good and filling.
They started off strong but our last 4 purchases have not been good. Their classic bread used to be our favorite but now they aren’t the same and sadly their desserts are bland. Their cinnamon raisin bread had no flavour and the raisins were very bitter. We’ve also seen them treat their employees badly in front of customers. It’s sad to see a business go down so quickly.
Delicious apple scones and olive oil focaccia - we arrived in Cobden in the afternoon and there were only a few items left, but what we got was worth the detour. Friendly, enthusiastic service. If you're looking for a sourdough loaf or other bread, come early in the day!
This bakery is absolutely amazing! Her sourdough bread is out of this world, and all the treats are so delicious! Anytime you are near Cobden be sure take a detour, you won’t be disappointed!
We just had the focaccia and it was truly amazing. Best ever. Really enjoyed it!
