I have been bringing my bunnies to The Links for the last 3 years. All of the veterinarians are very knowledgeable and the staff is extremely friendly. Both of my bunnies go for regular check ups here and they were both fixed during the pandemic. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a rabbit
First time at this vet for our bunny Thumper. The overall experience was great. I'm sure once these restrictions get lifted it will be better than waiting outside for details of your pet. Otherwise prices are reasonable and provide all the details you need to know. All that matters was our bunny was safe.
This vet will forever be my go-to for my rabbits. After losing my first little girl due to a complication/infection with her spay surgery with another Vet, I was a complete wreck during this entire process. Knowing that the benefits outweigh the negatives, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I can't begin to explain the difference in treatment. The care, precautions, and kindness towards my rabbit and myself were astounding. I broke down in tears after her 10-day checkup. Hearing that she was healing "amazingly," I was finally able to release all of the tension and fear from my previous experience; The Links Road Animal & Bird Clinic was welcoming, understanding, and more than happy to accommodate my concerns. My little girl is now almost a month out from surgery, and you'd never tell she had anything done. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for turning around such a frightening experience. You've gained a client for life, and I won't hesitate to refer others.
I must have called a dozen vets when my hamster experienced an early-morning medical emergency. The Links Road made her a priority, and upon arrival, they immediately began treatment. The vet carefully explained their diagnosis and what my options were. They insisted I spend time with her in the examination room and think things over. Despite my feeling of sadness, I’m forever grateful knowing the team did everything they could to make her comfortable in her last moments. I definitely recommend coming to the clinic for your exotic or small pet needs.
I’ve taken my bunny Oliver here several times, for his neutering, general checkups, and once when he was sick. I was so nervous about his neutering surgery and when he had GI stasis, but the vets are very caring and explain what they’re doing and Oliver did great! I will definitely continue bringing him here! I’m glad the covid restrictions are removed and I can finally go inside with him.
They took amazing care of Mr. Reggie when his eyes and skin were bothering him. They also gave the best care to my beloved Ollie when he had to be put down during an emergency appointments. Forever grateful for this clinic and how they have done nothing but support their clients.
I recommend Dr. Evan and Dr. Rick cuz I believe they are the most experienced exotic vets! Dr. Evan helped my bunny recover from a broken leg, and now my bunny walks and jumps like normal: He also explained everything to me very patiently including explaining the X-rays. Yesterday Dr. Rick did the neutering surgery on my bunny and it works successfully! My bunny is now doing very well. The technicians there are also very patient and nice. I like and trust the doctors at this place. We've been taking our 18 year old quaker parrot to this office for the last couple of years. Two months ago our parrot was limping and we took her there for an examination. She received excellent service and attention. We had to take her again last month too for an emergency because she started limping and twitching her left wing. The Doctor examined her and prescribed her some medicine which has helped her recover and now she is doing much better. Thank you Link Road staff for being there for our bird when she needed you!
Staff are friendly and so caring with the animals. They take their time to answer any of your questions. Great Vets and all the support staff that you can trust to be there your exotic family members!
My rabbit needed an emergency spaying last year and she was a little young but they took her in on short notice and did an amazing job. She healed very quickly with their extra laser option and is still doing great now! I'm forever grateful. If I wasn't so far these guys would be my primary vet, highly recommend.
