Where have you been all my life? I didn’t even know this shop was exist until I was googling some product for a gift basket. Not only they have good quality products with competitive price but also their store gives you fantastic gift ideas and home decor ideas. Thank you!
Been to this location twice and customer service is horrible. First time to buy towels. Second time I found a robe I liked and was informed it was a demo and couldn’t be sold, but that there were two more in stock. Could not find the robe on shelves and brought a different colour to the front. When I said “ I guess the white robe isn’t available in medium?”, the sales associate said “ If it’s not on the shelves it’s probably not available”. Then I asked if any of the other store locations would have the white .. And I was told “ you can certainly look into that if you like “. Ummm isn’t it your job to check ? And why didn’t the associate check to see if the two listed in stock were available in the back like most stores would do. The inventory doesn’t seem accurate in any case so wasn’t about to drive to a different store to find out the inventory count is off there too. They are happy to take a lot of your money here but not willing to give you much help. Last time I was in I heard an irate customer say “ I need to speak to an associate who actually values my business”. Looks like I’m not the only one with a bad experience here
Had the sweetest, friendliest cashier for a pillow pick-up a few weeks ago. Didn't catch her name but she is in school and made the visit memorable. The sales are great - otherwise, the store is a little pricy. Would give 5 stars if I learned about any strong worker pay & benefits/environmental commitment programs.
I ordered a Tencel duvet cover online for pick up at the store. For the record, if you have never slept on bedding by the brand "World's Softest Bedding," then you are missing out on something so heavenly. It's like sleeping on butter- it's amazing! Online order pick up was a breeze. I also managed to purchase the best pillow ever by Zentech and a cute little door stopper by Umbra. The quality of the products at Linen Chest are always top notch and some of the best! I always love browsing and shopping here!
It didn’t allow me leave review before…so it’s for December 2022. Placed an order 5 hours ago online as it’s saying curbside pickup within 2 hours…which is definitely not that fast. Felt frustrating for the online shopping experience already but still bought it at this store. Fully understandable it was not the store fault as it was an online website order, but very disappointing for the front cashier…. Not even provided me a bag after purchasing, and didn’t ask if I need, just left receipt and item there, and I’m not saying any words or putting any of my angry on her at all on my whole purchase…but at the end why she gave me attitude? It was my first time shop in there and also the last time.
I’m an existing customer, and I’m trying really hard to love this Canadian store, but have regularly felt that the customer service is sketchy; poor at best— either excellent friendly attention , or making me feel like I’m an imposition! I called to ask today if they had an item by name from today’s sales flyer to buy today… and was expected to have a “sku” on hand which is not listed in the flyer, presumably to make her job easier to check. I was told it was on their website, and was astounded that when I politely asked if she wanted me to go to their website to get the sku and call her back, she thought that would be good! Lost sale - l’m walking away and not buying the item.
Just dont bother shipping items to their store. you wont receive it months even though it says 3 weeks. and when you go to pickup after you get the email product is there, it actually wont be there. Even if you order items back to back, you wont receive them at the same time. I have made over 10 calls for two orders costing less than 40 bucks. Had to go twice to pickup the same order and both time were made to wait 20 -30 mins because first time product was missing and second time took forever to bring it out even though i requested them to bring out items beforehand so they dont make us wait so long again..and they kept saying two minutes. it made my spouse late to work and inturn losing more money not to mention the 30 mins drive each day. have never had such frustrating experience shopping online. The workers were polite but their service could really use some work. Excuses arent good enough for a company that big. Need to work on online orde4s and in store service.
This place has great customer service! Linda really knows her stuff. She answered all my questions and placed an order for me with no hassle at all.
Not a rating for this location specifically, but the customer service for the online store has been pretty dismal. I double checked my order prior to completing it, yet somehow an additional $200 duvet cover set was thrown into the order without my knowledge and of course I’ve already been charged. I immediately went to cancel the order, and my attempts were denied because the order was ‘too far along in the process’ and any attempts to speak to an actual customer service rep were not successful. Not a good experience with this company.
Ordered a product online a week ago, no confirmation email however I was immediately charged. I called the store to see when the product would be available as the online store pick up option says 2 hours, I was rudely told that a week was ‘not that long’ and that I should have some kind of confirmation email which I do not, I’ve checked my junk folder daily. They were dismissive and curt. Unimpressed.
