The Laundry Room on the Ave

Paid over $100 for about 10 items on the 1st. Was told they'd be ready on the 6th. Drove over and they were not ready. Employee didn't really care. Just said to come back tomorrow. It's now tomorrow and guess what, it's still not ready. They said, you guessed it, maybe tomorrow. I'm new to dry cleaning, does it normally cost this much and still take over a week to get done? This place is a joke. Take your stuff literally anywhere else. You're practically guaranteed to get faster and better service. Wow. Keep my experience in mind if you need an outfit dry cleaned for an event!! Also, if you get fed up with waiting you still can't get your stuff back since they send it out. Their only saving grace is the woman working when we first went in, she was great.

Awesome place to do laundry. Very clean and welcoming environment. Abby is very helpful and goes above and beyond to appease customers and maintain the facility

Sign on the door "no dry only." So if your washer is broken, it's OK to go and wash your clothes at $6 a pop, but then when your dryer breaks you aren't supposed to dry your clothes there. I would love to give this place decent ratings ... but sorry, this policy completely sucks.

I've posted this on Yelp, but I feel strongly that this place deserves recognition. The owners are lovely people, the service is top notch, and the price is very reasonable. Everything looks very new and up to date. Our clothes are cleaner than our apartment complex machines get them, and the convenience of dropping it off is worth the little extra money we spend. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Love that we can drop off laundry in the morning and it's washed/folded by 5pm. So happy we found such a place and so conveniently located in West Hartford. I can't speak highly enough of this place.

I really can't say anything bad about this place. I've been here a few times to do laundry and its perfect. I believe it's a family owned, it's pretty smaller than the one I usually go to down the street but it's so clean that I don't even mind and the staff is nice. Its about .25-.50 more then the other ones but I'll take it.
