Y’all... don’t come here if you have curly hair. I have type 3b/c hair and I normally get my hair cut in the city but I decided to take a chance and come somewhere close by. It’s nothing like what I asked, it just does not look good and I hardly wear it down. At this point there’s nothing to be done and I can only just grow it out. So again, I’m not saying it’s a bad place, just from my experience I advise you to go somewhere else for a curly cut.

Coming from someone who's never happy with my haircuts -- Lauren is a hair wizard! She knew exactly how to deal with my thick hair, and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. Lauren is an experienced and passionate stylist, and I'll be trusting her with my hair in the future.

I was in New Paltz for an engagement shoot and wanted to have my hair trimmed and blown out beforehand. I haven't always had the best experiences at hair salons so I was cautious going to a place I haven't been, but they had great reviews. 

They definitely lived up to those reviews. I had Anthony do my hair and he was absolutely wonderful - funny, understanding, and knows how to do a great cut for what suits you. I would recommend him to anyone!

While I don't live in the area, I will definitely be coming back here for a trim  with Anthony when I'm nearby :)

I recently had a hair issue and Lauren gave me the most amazing color and cut I have ever gotten! The salon is absolutely beautiful and spotless! Lauren and her staff are both amazingly talented and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about The L Salon, easily one of the nicest and most professional salons I have ever been to!
