The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Yaletown

Made dinner reservations for my birthday. When I arrived I was seated and the server was very attentive. My drinks did not go empty for long, they polite and the food came quickly. I like the atmosphere and the food did not disappoint Summer months are great here. In addition to the lounge and indoor restaurant area, they open the ample outdoor patio seating. Fun tip, ask for the cheese butter with your complimentary bread. It kicks up the flavour a notch. The twice baked potato is also very tasty. They also have a nice happy hour with drinks and appies. Overall, good food for any occasion I feel like treating myself.

Incredible rooftop patio and excellent customer service! The Keg Yaletown delivers quality from the reservation, all the way to the final bill. We were guided professionally to the rooftop and the management team / servers were accommodating and friendly. Our server Kate was exceptional, as she had a great sense of humour, was always on the ball with our food / drink orders, and went above and beyond. My family created a fantastic memory and it was one of the best dinners we’ve had.

Friendly staff, tasty food & super clean premises. Loved the balcony & the overall experience. Our host Tess was quite attentive & made sure we have a good time. The steak was cooked exactly as asked, loved the lobster tail & sides too. Note to managers: please add the creamy truffle mushroom sauce to your permanent menu, it's the best one you have yet to offer!

Back to basic : wonderful prime rib! Keg steakhouse is one of the most famous steakhouse and I totally agree with it. Their sides are not that fancy but focusing on the steak and best combinations-potatoes, fried onions and grilled veggies. Well, their sirloin was not impressive than Prime Rib, it was just normal. But you can definitely try their featured Prime Rib, it was melting in my mouth. Even the price is reasonable. Why don’t you go and try?

The place is very nice, I ate at the roof patio on December and they do have heaters all over, but still could be a bit cold. Service was good, but food was not the best. As the name says it it is a steakhouse, but they do have vegan and vegetarian options which is not surprising in Vancouver. I order an onion soup which was not very good, onion was still a bit raw... And a prime rib which was good, but it could have been much better. Bread was very good as well as margarita.

It's a Keg, meaning there's going to be "known consistency" with what you're getting yourself into. It's a reliable place for a cut of meat; there's also a decent variety of tasty appetizers and alcoholic beverages. You get complementary bread/butter and if it's your birthday, they'll probably hook you up a slice of that "Billy Miner" pie, which is a nice touch. Service is excellent and it's an establishment where the servers seem to care about you and deserve their tips. It's a nice venue in Yaletown, but parking isn't the most accessible nor easiest to find. The only minor concern I had, was having our party wait outside in the cold for 10 minutes past our reservation time, while they prepared our table understandably, a good portion of our guests couldn't make it, so they had to rearrange the seating. It'd be thoughtful if they fired-up some of those area heaters for the patrons waiting outside though.

Can never complain about this Keg. They have good steak and great customer service. The yaletown location is very packed, especially towards the weekend. Best to book a table ahead of time. You can never go wrong with the bone-in rib steak, a 20oz piece of steak that always results in left overs for the next day. The Billy miner pie is also a must have, but better shared with another diner IMO!

Another great experience at another Keg. Perfectly done steaks and consistent every time. I can confidently say the Keg does it’s filets better than many higher end restaurants. Their sauce is really something. However, none of the appetizers or the desserts were nearly as good as they used to be. Service and location were still great though. Rooftop is fantastic even on a colder night.

Nice selection of beer. Steaks were cooked properly and tasted wonderful. The calamari appetizer was very good as well

This was my first time to this Keg location. We had a company celebration dinner here. Our menu was a preset menu with a few nice options for appetizers, mains and desserts. Service was very good with multiple servers helping us. Food tasted great. I had the steak and lobster for my main and cheesecake for dessert. I have been to multiple Keg locations and they are all pretty consistent with service and food quality. Note this is a big restaurant and there are 3 floors. My only issue was finding the restroom which was on the first floor.
