This puts The Keg's usual great food and service to the next higher level. The restaurant is set up nicely with quite a few comfortable booths and nice intimate tables. The food ordered steaks were cooked to perfection as ordered and tasted delicious. The service was excellent. Our watiress checked up in us as often as I wanted and the food arrived at perfect times. The salad was served on a cold plate and the freshly baked bread was nice and warm. This is definitely one of the best The Keg Steakhouse restaurants i have been to. A must visit for a great steak, atmosphere and of course service.
I came here with my girlfriend for New Years Eve for a nice late dinner before going out to enjoy the fireworks. The staff were very understanding and helped us arrange a reservation despite our last minute call. When we arrived, we were greeted by some freshly heated bread and butter then ordered our appetizers and mains. The staff were extremely friendly. We had Danica as our server and she came to check on us frequently to make sure our waters were full and that we had everything we need. It really shocked me when she noticed that our drinks hadn't arrived after some time. In all of the resteraunts I have ever gone to, no server has ever shown us that high level of attention! I wanted to reach out and say that even a small gesture like that helps people have positive experiences. The atmosphere was really nice and quiet and I didn't have to yell across the table to speak with my girlfriend. Overall I had an extremely good experience and would be very happy to come back!
Our go-to location amongst all the locations in and around Edmonton. Definitely caught them on an off night. The 6 oz sirloin was dry and hard as a puck - was supposed to be medium. Sounds like the table next to us had the same problem. They sent theirs back. Service took longer than usual. All the other dishes were good :.
Wife and I went here for our anniversary and we had a very good experience! The staff was great and food was also good. Would come back again!! We have tried other Keg restaurants and have always been dissatisfied but Sherwood Park knows what they’re doing!Recommended dishesBilly Miner Pie
Sunday Night Fun Night Keg Sherwood Park knocked it out of the park!!!! Baked Garlic Shrimp I always ask and pay for extra cheeseskip the bun that comes with it as the baked bread that comes to the table is soooo much better IMO Bone In Rib Steak For the win. Best cut we have had in a long time and beats other local steak places by far over the past 6 months. Service was on point. Minus a few servers having personal moment only added to the entertainment! sat in the lounge side. Keep in mind that under 18 can be seated on this side. Giving it a 9 out of 10.
We went to the Sherwood park Keg location for my birthday. The service was friendly and attentive but 2/3 of the entrees missed the mark. The music was overly loud, and it seemed like there were no quality checks before the food came out. My prime rib was requested to be medium rare and came out blue rare. They reheated my prime rib and replated it and it was decent. Another diner in our group ordered the Salman Oscar and it was burnt, Brussels sprouts were raw and hard. For 40-50+ dollar dishes we were hoping the food was a bit better. Service was good but food was very disappointing.
Wow! I do wish my reserved table was ready right when we arrived rather than having to wait in the lobby, but.... The wellington was the best I've ever had, better than I make myself. Perfection. The service was great, friendly without being too much. The margaritas was amazing. And the mini dessert was far from mini. Better than any keg I've been to in years. I will drive out of my way to return!
Enjoyed my dinner at The Keg as I have not been in a while! Still have all the same great tasting staples and steak was done perfectly. Service was wonderful. Do make note, even on Monday evening they were very busy and there was about a 20-30 minute wait. Due to this we opted to sit at the bar which was no problem. Service was still good and not squished one bit. Thanks
Dined in for dinner on a very busy Saturday night. We had a reservation - the girls at the front were polite and gracious. There was a very short wait before we were taken to our table. Our server Maya was one of the BEST I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. She was friendly, positive attitude and very gracious. No errors with our order, our food continued to come out without delay and everything was cooked to perfection. Keep in mind this is peak Saturday night dining hours - this is a true testament to how well run this restaurant is. Each staff we encountered was exceptional as was the quality of food and dining experience. It has been a VERY long time that we left a restaurant so satisfied.
Such great service from all staff during our anniversary dinner. Our waiter “Gage” went above and beyond and made us feel like valuable customers at all times. The food was amazing and is one of the best restaurants in Alberta. They hit the mark every-time!!!!!!
