The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Peterborough

It is rare that a restaurant gets 5 stars, but absolutely worth it for the stellar, top notch experience this evening!nnFrom the moment the door was opened for us, we were greeted by the most sincere hostess, who brought us to our table and had a genuine conversation that was amazing . Our server was attentive, knowledgeable accommodating funny and attentive. The food was simply the best I've had in a long time to compliments to the chefs and support staff. You made our experience wonderful. If you are in the area, war here

We loved our dinner here! The ambiance of the historic cotton mill building paired with the fantastic and friendly service of our waitress, Andrea, was top notch! We enjoyed the French onion soup to start and the double baked potato was delicious! We also thought that both the sirloin steak, crab legs and prime rib were cooked to perfection and the Billy Miner cake was the perfect dessert to share. Their new patio space was very modern and Andrea shared that they have live music in the summer so we look forward to visiting again soon!

Took my wife here for her birthday. To start off, the way they converted the old factory into a Keg was amazing. More places should do this instead of tearing down history for a block building.nWe were taken to our table on time with our reservation, waited on promptly and order take. Our waiter Trevor was very knowledgeable about the menu, but my wife and I had already decided on what we wanted before arriving. When the food came, it was hot, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Trevor actually thought my wife’s steak was cooked to much and hit the manger to discount it. We had lots left and made a doggy bag for coir boxer, who always liked to partake in great food. We would definitely go back to this location again.

Very nice nice atmosphere, the restaurant is beautiful. Service was great as usual. Had a rib steak and it was perfectly cooked to medium rare. I had onion rings with my dinner and was not impressed with them, $8.00 to substitute for onion rings, I wish I stuck with fries.nMy wife really enjoyed her steak, however is was pretty small. Glad I had gift cards because it's pricey.

While the Keg isn’t the most amazing steakhouse you’ll find out there, the good thing is that the food at all locations is pretty consistent. If you’re looking for steak at an affordable price point you’ll have a good time here.nnAfter eating the free bread and appetizers I was already too stuffed to eat the Prime Rib haha. But the Prime Rib portion they give is humongous and I got a lobster tail on the side!nnThe billy miner pie is also dangerously addicting
