I’ve been disappointed with all my keg visits recently, it was way better in the 90’S. However, I think this location holds higher standards than others Surrey. The steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. I ordered medium rare and got medium rare. The appetizer of baked garlic shrimp was addicting. I would return. I would give it 5 stars but the prices are out of control. Don’t ask what we paid for a table of 10. Haha.
The service was phenomenal; our server Anna was attentive, efficient, and congenial. The decor is modern and upscale, while the ambience was warm and inviting. The steaks were good; the side dishes were incredible. Their roasted red bell peppers were the best I’ve ever had. Finally, their bread was soft, fresh, and delicious! The only nit I have to pick is that their portions are a little small for what they charge. Also, given that they’re probably Abbotsford’s most exclusive restaurant, they should consider paving their side parking lot.
Went for The Valentine’s Day 3 course meal on the 12th. We opted for the filet mignon and the billy miner pie. We had red sangria and fresh bread as a starter The sangria was delicious, one of the best I’ve had anywhere and warm bread and butter . The Caesar as well one of the best, I love The Kegs Caesar salad. The filet mignon was cooked perfect to our liking and melted in our mouths. The twice baked potato was also one of the best I’ve had, with chives bacon and cheese mixed in. The vegetables however I felt were lacking. Just steamed with no sauce or seasoning. Very bland and disappointing. The billy miner pie was soo tasty. Service was pretty good, but could have been better.
We had a very nice dinner here. The service was perfect. The steaks were very well - grilled to the point. The tuna-tartar was really good, but could be a litte more spiced. The baked brie with warm pesto was delicious.
We came here for my husband’s birthday. We are warmly welcomed by the host and server, Sheradyn, she was doing a very great job, love her service very much. Great food, the steaks were awesome, the service was perfect. It was more appreciated if there was a small piece of cake with Happy Birthday writing on the plate to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I was expected that but.!
Food was delicious and our server was amazing. We've had Brayden before and are never disappointed. There were 6 of us out and we all really enjoyed our meals, including the appies and desserts. The desserts are big enough to share! The enjoy this locations quality and consistency and and never disappointed with the food who be back again.
Very good experience! The food was very very tasty although the portions were kind of small. When I order East coast lobster I kind of expect to get a tail that's two to three times the size of what I got.
This was part of a trip that my family of four recently took. We haven't done anything like this since Covid. We were a little surprised at how full the restaurant was good for them, restaurants have had it tough as we thought there was "reduced capacity," from their website to all for social distancing. That didn't seem to be the case to us, but the staff did everything else to make my children feel good about it. The food and service was outstanding. You get what you pay for here, an excellent experience we had steak, lobster and ribs and all were terrific. I enjoy that a chain restaurant can still have local craft beers not the case in my small town.
It was very busy, but Anjeli made sure to fill our water and brought our food in a timely fashion. My sirloin was cooked to perfection and the scallops were tender and tasty! Dessert was delicious!Food: 5/5
TL;DR everything you love about the Keg, with exceptional staff. The food is keg quality top notch. The atmosphere is great with a number of seating zones to suit your dining style, like casual lounge, dining booths, and large booths for groups. But the staff, the Staff are excellent. From the moment you walk in the hosts are attentive and on-point. The servers are charming and knowledgeable of the food, and always have a recommendation if you're unsure. The bar staff are awesome. And the managers make a point of stopping by to check in once, and I've even seen them pitch in on carrying out food. Just awesome. Large parking lot and accessible entrance. Parking: Parking lot attached to the building with tons of spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking, wheelchair ramp into the building. Wheelchair accessible washrooms.
