I think it's time for the Jasmine Garden to do some pruning. It may have been great in the past, but it is now overgrown. Some of the staff were helpful, but others were lazy. we waited way too long to make our order. We used to get tea, but this time e had to even order water. There were no condiments on the table and what came with the "egg rolls" was old and leaking. We ordered the dinner for four and found it very underwhelming. The stir fried vegetables were too large and had to each be cut, and the "sweet & sour" was just "red & sticky". The deep fried "prawns" were just under-cooked doughy tempura shrimp. The wasrooms were a disaster, and the hall to them was blocked with all sorts of supplies. I think most of the reviews are coming from 55+ clients who have never had authentic Chinese food. This restaurant caters to those who thought Mama Panda was fine Asian cuisine. I can't recommend this establishment.
Stopped in for lunch and the fun ensued. Wonderful staff and management, friendly and helpful despite it being very busy Sunday Lunchtime. The lunch specials menu pictures attached to this review are exactly what one would expect. Fast, hot and plenty. Good prices, good food, friendly service. A win.
My favorite Chinese restaurant! We haven’t been in 3 years due to border restrictions, but we made the trek. Clarisa remembered us after 3 years! The food is consistent. I avoid soup at all costs, but their wonton soup is awesome! You can’t beat the lunch combo value.Recommended dishesPork Fried Rice, Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Soup
Super great service and generous portions of food for a low price. Chow mein was ok, but the rest of the noodles were fantastic! Especially the chow fun and Shanghai thick noodles . Busy but tidy and well decorated! Self-evidently popular locally.Food: 5/5
Food is very average. Service I give 5/10 over priced food Extra pay for sauce or vegitable we for vegetables instead of meet and paid extra. I don't thing I recommend this for Gluten free or vegetarian..
Nice place I stopped for dinner and was happy with the food and service. Will definitely visit again.
Finally we found a place that will satisfy are Chinese Food needs. Jasmine Garden is by are the best Chinese food we've found in the lower mainland. The best flavour, dipping sauces, and service. A full 10/10 for everything. We will 100% be driving 40 minutes out of our way to come here. The only place we will come for Chinese food now.Food: 5/5
Our first time ordering Janine gardens and it was by far the most delicious dinner. We will certainly be ordering again. They were accommodating with my wife's nut allergy as well. 5 stars from our family!!
I have been going to this place since August of last year. I highly recommend their food and service. We order from there for work and I enjoy dropping in for a quick lunch.Food: 5/5
Everything was good tasting but some of the items in the mixed chop suey were served cold BBQ pork was very cold and broccoli was cooler than room temperature but the rest were hot enough. The Almond chicken was cooked somewhat overdoneFood: 3/5
