We really enjoyed our dine-in experience here! The food seemed to have good quality. However, it's just missing a little bit of seasoning. They have a good selection of beers which I really enjoyed. Service was quick and efficient, no errors. This is a great spot right after a hike or SUP around the area with affordable and reasonable price. Highly recommended!
We ate here for dinner, and it was great. They have adult and kid meals. They offer beer, wine, and cocktails. They have seating at the bar and seating for couples and groups in the front room and back room. The back room has a fireplace. They offer dine-in and take-out. The portion size is average. I love a bowl of nice warm soup on a cold day. They offer different daily soups which is nice to get something different. So far, the squash curry soup has been my favorite. We will be back ; Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu available. Parking: There is limited street parking but plenty of parking in the back.
Good menu, not so good execution. Oysters were so big it was a little freaky. Greasy. Good bacon on the BLT, but the bread was too thick, cold, and dry. I liked the sweet potato tots and the patio was nice.
There were not many options in North Bend for places to eat. Pizza was recommended by a friend who ate there before but I ordered mojo pork sandwich. It was good sandwich but big negative thing was there was not a lot of mojo pork, fries was good, it was salty but not too salty and it has garlic mixed. My friend ordered black duck pizza, I had a slice. We both agreed that pizza was good, very fancy looking pizza, I like the pizza even the pistachio that not sure if it would go on the pizza or the sauce. The least thing I like was the duck. Service was good, she came around and refilled our soda and water. She checked on us.
Can confirm: The duck is delicious! Cannot recommend the duck pizza enough here for something very similar to chicken BBQ pizza, but far richer in flavor and feeling. Also cannot praise the staff here more! Some of the friendliest and most energetic folks you'll come across!
More than good food menu, great beer menu with local and seasonal items to try. Pizza crust is absolute perfection and the mix of classic flavors and new creative culinary adventures has me coming back again and again I could also eat any of their house made aioli flavors off a old shoe and enjoy it. The grilled artichoke is a fun appetizer to share and the duck drummies perfect to induldge and the pretzel is perfect to NOT share as its extremely flavorful and well cooked you won’t want to.
Stopped in to North Bend today while on a scenic drive with my wife. We picked the Iron Duck for lunch and a beverage. Was our first time there. We loved the iron saddle seats at the bar, so fun. The menu has all the standards but also some very unique and intriguing items to try next time, such as Confit Duck legs. They were busy but seated us right away. We chose the bar seating. Bar waitress was very friendly and on top of everything. I have to say I was quite impressed with the service. As busy as they were for lunch, they were organized and paid attention to us. Had the mojo pork sandwich and sweet potato tots. It was delicious and price reasonable. My only criticism would be that the bun on the sandwich seemed pretty thick and bready for the amount of meat. Basically the bun to meat ratio seemed off. I would have preferred a brioche bun for this type of sandwich. But don't get me wrong, it was delicious as were the tots. They have a sizeable beer menu and I hear the patio opens in May weather permitting. We will be back and again really enjoyed it. I saw a wide selection of whiskeys on the shelf that I want to try. I was driving through this lovely town at the foot of the Cascade mountains. We stopped in the middle of the afternoon on a busy summer weekend and everyone in my group had a delicious meal. I loved my black duck pizza. It was unique with lots of interesting flavors like arugula, duck and some kind of mildly sweet reduction. Great place to eat and the service was excellent
Wow. Everyone at the table - kids and adults - loved their food. The Burger was outstanding, fries were perfect, and the pickle chips a delicious starter. The kids burger and Mac and cheese were also great and a ton of food for the kid's meal price. Loved the winter/holiday ambience and blazing fire on a cold, snowy evening. Would definitely return!
