The Irish Shebeen

In the area on a business trip and I have to say, the BEST food and atmosphere I have had all week. My first night in I stopped here, it was quiet you know for a Monday it's to be expected but that did not stop the bartender from adding a little excitement to the evening. He was incredibly friendly, personable and genuinely interested in our conversation. I had the Lamb shank which I unfortunately did not get a picture of due to the fact that I was so eager to enjoy it, oh did I enjoy it. I visited a couple of other spots in the area, they did not compare. Which is why I came back for more! This evening a different bar tender with the same exact amount of welcoming charismatic attitude as the first. Again, personable, friendly, conversationalist. A real hometown pub you frequent feel. The Reuben fritter's were amazing. I was so anxious to try them I only got a photo shot of two, I had to save room for my shepherd's pie which was equally as AMAZING! Felt like I was eating some of my own cooking for a moment. I highly recommend The Irish Shebeen if you are in the area, I hear they also have live music on Friday and Saturday night, I am truly disappointed I won't be able to stop in for it! If you are looking for a warm, cozy, friendly pub to duck into for the evening this is the place.

This bar hosted an after party for a football event August 27th 2022. The food was great, atmosphere was light and fun. Given the size of our party I can forgive the staff for being a little slow. All in all good food, great value. Would definitely recommend this place.

The location is open & spacious. The Distillery Vibes is classic Pub feel. Big up the Management and Staff!! They are Phenomenal!!! 10 out of 10! Food was Excellent and the Sangria Pitchers are delicious!

Good beer selection, nice staff, and great service. I had a well done and burned burger there and the manager made it right with me. They grind their own burger meat so it would be reasonable to ask for a burger that is not burned and dry inside, despite the Canadian government's ridiculous "kill it with fire" penchant against burgers. They had a side dish called "Nacho chips with salsa" which is just Tortilla chips with salsa. The word nacho implies a cheese dip, so hopefully they will add a small cup of Nacho cheese dip or change the name with their next menu revision. September 2022.

Great food, great service. Glad I made my way here. Spinach dip was fantastic. Loved the fish and chips. Apple crumble was one of the best homemade desserts I've ever had

Decided to try this place while in the areas and it was and enjoyable experience. Wings were delicious and beer was cold. Entertaining karaoke on a Wednesday night. They make you feel welcome and the service was A1

Staff made us feel welcomed and the place has a warm atmosphere. Great place to relax. Food was good and affordable. We will go back for sure when in town. Thanks to Joe and his amazing team!!!

Great food, awesome service, amazing bands. From what I was told, this pub is under new management and they're doing an excellent job. Thanks to our server Cyeira for everything. Joe the General Manager was fantastic too. Definitely recommend! Parking: Tons of free parking
