I wish I could give 10 stars to this place! We dropped by The Hot Grill for some lunch while in St. Albert, ordering the Hot Grill Club House with the green salad side, and the Chipotle Onion Rings Burger with sweet potato fries. Along with some coffees too. Emily, who served us, was super friendly, super nice and gave us the perfect customer service. The food was absolutely delicious! it arrived in good time, hot and fresh. I can honestly say it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It was also nice to meet one of the chefs, who came out to say hello. I know we'll be back in the area and will certainly be heading back to The Hot Grill to try some of their other options on the menu! Thanks for a lovely lunch experience, we'll see you soon
Amazing find at St Albert. First time in town and very pleased with this restaurant. The food was just delicious and the service was great. Great ambiance and decorated very mocely. Definitely will be visiting again soon. Highly recommended!!!
Four former work colleagues went for lunch today at the Hot Grill. For three of us, it was a new destination. The service was excellent. An exceptionally pleasant young lady engaged us in conversation and took our orders. We all truly enjoyed our choices and the portions were so generous that we all took some home. Ingredients were very fresh and the menu was amazing in its choices. The chef/owner came out and personally assured that we had enjoyed our lunches. We all said we would definitely be returning! Parking: Lots of free and accessible parking.

One of the best dining experiences we have had in St. Albert. From the moment we arrived, right to the assistance as we walked out the door, the service was top notch. We all ordered a different dish curry chicken, ginger beef and stir fry and it was unanimous that not only was the presentation 5 star quality, but so were our dinners. The flavours were perfect and everything cooked to perfection which made for an unbeatable dining experience. Many thanks to Kushan for all his kind attention and special thanks to the Chef and kitchen staff. We will definitely return as soon as possible.
First time dining in and was not disappointed. I had the chicken carbonara, my friend had steak fritz. It was obvious there was great pride taken in presentation and fresh ingredients. The chef even came out and did a lap to make sure everyone was happy. Rare and super impressive these days. I will be back again and again!
Hidden gem with great service and it’s reasonably priced. We really appreciated that the chef stopped by our table to ask how everything was tasting. It was all so yummy and we’ve never had such a delicious kids mac and cheese!
You don' get what you pay for. You get much, much more! The food portions/presentations are high class. The wait staff was personable and pretty funny as well. Made us feel welcome and our wallets didn't take a hit either. Will be back!
Have always enjoyed the takeout we have picked up from here, however today Friday we decided to order via Skip after a long day. I called the restaurant after it had been some time without the order being confirmed to see if there was an issue with the order. The server I spoke with advised the following: - I wouldn't be the person to ask about that - No, we're not on Skip at all - Yes, we are on Skip but not on weekends - No, only on Uber Eats - I don't know. You can order for pickup if you want Quite disappointed as once the order was processed and waiting for confirmation, our refund was in Skip credits which meant we had to order elsewhere. I feel the restaurant should remove themselves from delivery apps if there is no intention of fulfilling orders.
10/10. I think I might have found a new favorite place for dinner. Food was absolutely fantastic. And the staff were genuinely nice and just the right amount of attentive. Even the atmosphere of the place was comforting. I highly recommend stopping here. You'll be happy you did.
