Awesomeness!!! Will go back again and again. Fantastic homemade traditional Indian Cuisine. It's worth every penny spent.
You know what? If you want a breakfast place, this place is alright. My hubby had the country platter - lots of food for a decent price. I had the fish and chips. They were good; not the best I've ever had but not the worst either. The servicer was friendly and quick with the coffee. The place was half full but we had a little wait for our food. All around it is a relatively good place for breakfast mainly.
I use to love this place but it has went down hill fast.... it takes way to long to be seated even though there is no one there and they keep changing the ingredients in there dishes. probably as a result of lack of business so they need to get cheaper ingredients Example: Chicken burger use to have a delicious grilled chicken breast that complimented all the ingredients, now they serve a fried breaded chicken patty... same with there gravy it was smooth and perfectly seasoned several months ago now it is chunky and seems like it has been reheated. Due to the changing factors of this business i will not be attending it anymore.
Honestly, I thought I disliked East Indian food, but after trying the vindaloo here I'm a fan. Without a doubt my favourite meal in Stony Plain comes from this place. Friendly service, the owner almost always comes out to introduce himself. I'm telling you, give this place a shot.
The food here was AMAZING!!! Its absolutely wonderful to have East Indian cuisine in a small town. Bravo! My only "complaint" if its a complaint...I would have liked to see just a little less sauce and more "stuff".... This place will be our monthly treat!
Great Indian dishes... I had the paneer takka tak masala and it was very good! My boyfriend had the chicken vindaloo and really enjoyed it but do not order the vindaloo if you don't like spicy food as it was quite hot but really good. Will most likely go back for the Indian dishes.
The Indian dishes are delicious and their delivery is quick. It really made me smile tonight when I opened the bag and they had thrown in a cold can of coke on a very hot day. :
Went with 30 people had reservations No water was provided while waiting Well under staffed 2hour+ wait for food Drink orders where 2 hrs people cancelled orders due to wait time. Steaks either over cooked or under Terrible expérience I ended up at. safeway deli Our family will never return to this establishment I recommed Tim Hortons in same lot or Safway deli across street.
Indian Food lover's paradise in Stony Plain and my new found drinking den. Apart from the lip smacking Indian delicacies that they serve, it is the alcohol stock that is to die for. They serve apparently the best alcohol in stony plain.
Ordered Fish & chips, Fish was not edible, couldn’t even cut it or chew it! Reordered a clubhouse sandwich it came out with a chicken bone in it!! They still charged us for another meal a guest of ours had. Will not return to this restaurant again!
