Today we had THE best customer service at Home Depot in West Kelowna! Don P is not only extremely knowledgeable, but he is friendly and professional. It felt like we were talking to a family member!nWe are in the middle of a major home, renovation, and Don will be our go to guy!nnThank you for your incredible Customer Service! The staff at this location are amazing, and not just on small items and finding them in the store, they will make sure you're getting the right product for what you're doing.nnThe lady that helped me with appliances was incredible. She told me when I left that she would see what she could do to save me some additional money. She called a few hours later and let me know she was emailing a new quote and had saved me an additional $280 through price matching other matches they had done on the same models.nnThis is just one example of many where employees here have gone above and beyond.
My husband and I went in looking for shelving for our pantry and found exactly what we needed. We purchased 6 metal bakers rack types shelves in 3 sizes to do the job. I had the idea to join the 2 smallest shelves together to make a shoe rack. What I needed was a way to join the two leg sections together. We went into the nuts and bolts section where I needed a stud bolt. I tried to explain to the first employee what I was looking for, and he pretty much dismissed me saying they didn't have anything like that.nnAnother employee by the name of John, overheard the conversation and came over to help. John went above and beyond as far as I am concerned. He picked out 4 extra long bolts that fit the thread, and he cut the heads off for me. Problem solved.nIt just goes to show what the difference is between an employee who cares about customers and their needs, and an employee who is just there to get his paycheck. Thanks again John for all of your help!
