Amazing. The best steak and mushroom pie since England and actually, it's just as good. A nice flight of beers and it's a perfect evening. We will definitely be back soon.

We went during COVID and the welcome from our server was superb. She was so friendly and professional. The cask beer was superb, and the calamari came out fresh within 2 minutes! There was a roaring fire in the lower level bar, and each table had candles. What a rustic feel! Give them your business, they deserve it.

Really unique building and awesome atmosphere both inside and outside. Their patio in the summer is one of the best in the city. Large selection of local beer and cider. Menu is small but has all the essentials. Nachos are a personal favourite as they come with pineapples and homemade salsa!

Excellent. First time there and pleasently surprised. A building with lots of history and very cozy with the old stonework exposed. The food was excellent, better than expected. Service was top notch. I'll definitely be going back.

This place has the style of old Halifax with the service of current day. The meal is delicious and filling for the price. Lovely decor and the staff are fantastic. I will be back for sure!!!

Food was fantastic. Great selection of craft beer. Mains came quick but service was otherwise kind of slow water refills, bringing dessert, and bringing bill as it seemed to be understaffed with servers.
