The Hen and Hog Cafe

Such a gem of a breakfast restaurant. Superb food - the crepes are to die for - the eggs Benedict are second to none. The coffee was hot hot - served in ceramic mugs. Servers were awesome. So kind, friendly, helpful. 5 stars. Go.

We have lived near The Hen and Hog Cafe for about 4 years now. Seldom do we drive by when there isn’t a queue. Today was one of those days and it proved to be worth any wait. The staff were cheerful, helpful and quick. The food was appealing to the view and tasteful to taste. Small but very cozy setting

We had a really yummy breakfast at the hen and hog and can now see what all the fuss is about. We had huevos rancheros and the veggies Benny. Everything was really yummy and fresh. Service was fast and attentive. There were clearly a few regulars! Not the most amazing interior but the food definitely makes up for it.

I have had breakfast here a few times when visiting from out of town. It is one of the best places I have been. The food is excellent with fair portions and a varied menu. It is a bit cramped inside but worth the wait when it is busy.

Our waitress was excellent . . . Personable & efficient. The food was good, but a little pricey for the location. The atmosphere was VERY crowded and very noisy. I had a hard time maneuvering between two tables to go to the washroom, the space was soooo tight.
