Filet mignon with Brie is very good. The spinach cream with rice comes with it is an interesting combination. Medium is more of a medium rare. Veal is average. They all say the breaded fish is good. The drink I had is pink something and I did not like it.
I had the pleasure to dine at the Hearthstone for a work-related dinner. The food was excellent, we started with several small plates including the Spinach and Artichoke dip, which was my favorite. For my main course I had the Scottish Salmon grenobloise, and a cherry blossom cocktail both were exceptional. Lastly, for dessert I had the lemon tort cake which was a great finish to such a good meal. the staff, atmosphere, and food were all top notch.
A very pleasant evening for a birthday dinner! The food was well cooked and warm. The cheddar soup is so great as usual. They had a blueberry ale mocktail that was fantastic! Our server was the sweetest and very attentive. The bathroom was clean and the hand washing experience was fantastic. The water was warm and actually stayed warm and the soap smelt so good! Will continue to return for special occasions.

New to town and noticed this place is always busy. Checked out their website and decided to try it for a date night. Wonderful staff, food and ambience. Definitely a special occasion place. Drinks, appetizers, entrees and tip $150. Well worth every $. Website has clear pictures and prices of food. Expectations well met!!
Possibly THE place in town for a gourmet meal. Excellent service from April, a charming, quiet-spoken young lady and the cast iron pan-seared pork chop was sooo special. Great beers too. Highly recommended.
I don't often leave reviews but this place was unexpectedly perfect. I was in town for a conference and wanted a nice meal, specifically the beef bourguignon I saw on their menu. Without a reservation, I was seated immediately. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, without being overbearing. The food was delicious. From the bread and wine straight through to the main course and dessert the cheesecake, everything was of wonderful quality. I highly recommend and would definitely return!
This is my outright favorite restaurant! My husband & I came here when we were dating, after we married, next with our children as they grew up, & now I continue to come with my family & dear friends! When my children were young, they would make them the most delicious egg salad sandwiches to go with their soup even when they weren’t on the menu! There is always something new & delicious to try on the menu as well as the Hearthstone favorites. The group I come with has changed over the years, as my children are all adults. It is now six dear girlfriends, known as “The Troublemakers” at the Hearthstone. We love trying all the new features the chefs come up withthey are all so talented! The pastry chef puts together the most melt-in-your-mouth desserts & the bartenders are always featuring a new drink. The servers are nothing short of wonderful, always trying to be sure you have a great experience. The front staff is beyond words…efficient, friendly & they keep things moving. And last but not least, the owner who used to eat those egg salad sandwiches & many more delicious foods as he grew up. I am so proud & blessed to call him my son, Ben. I know how much he loves this restaurant & works to make it the BEST! He genuinely appreciates & recognizes his staff for their loyalty & hard work! He lets them know they are all working together as one to have the best restaurant in town! How could you not have a great experience at a restaurant with that level of caring, teamwork, & skill? Give Hearthstone Bistro a try - it will not disappoint!
