The Fruitful Orchard and Cider Mill features over 35 varieties of apples, a bakery, country store, U-pick apple area, hayrides, tours, and fresh pressed unpasteurized cider. The orchard season starts the end of August and closes the end of November. However, you can keep an eye out for cherry sales at new hard cider tasting room (The Merry-Hearted Cidery - next door) this summer during cherry season (typically beginning late June to mid July).

My family and i all went (party of 13) it was fabulous. The cider is crisp, and the harder ciders are delectable. I loved the purple heart! Also the ride on the haywagon was both fun and educational. Besides how busy they were the whole trip was amazing! Glad to have such a lovely location near home.

We visited here to pick apples. Little did we know they had so much more! We got to fill a bag with apples for $14. They have a building where they sell decor, along with donuts, apples, apple cider, pies, caramel apples, etc etc. They have a separate building called the tasting room (something like that). It was for buying samples of many different kinds of wine! We ended up buying a 4-sampler and then bought a bottle of strawberry wine to take home. We are from Ohio, but were visiting family about 30 minutes away. This place was new to all of us. I had done a Google search for places to pick apples and buy cider. Boy, did we luck out here!! We'll definitely be back again in the future!

A truly enjoyable apple orchard, the only one in the county. A decent selection of apple varietied during the season, plus cider ( which you can watch being made). Delicious pies, caramel apples and donuts, woth a seating area within the or hard store. Prepared items, including their own canned applesauce, Jake and Amos Amish jarred foods and regional artisan prepared foods. Home furnishings and gifts are also for sale. The orchard re gently added a hard cider bar.

Great place to stop in at! They have a cute tasting room for sampling and purchasing hard ciders that they make themselves. They also have a nice selection of donuts, candy, ciders and of course apples!

Yummy cider. Good selection of apples and baked goods. Plain cinnamon donuts were nothing special, though.
