The Edge Fitness Clubs Milford

The had a good college deal for this winter break. The place is relatively clean. Not as spacious as I hoped. The staff is very nice and the location is pretty good.

I recently signed up for membership and was told that as a perk, I'd receive a one hour personal training session. What it actually was: 20 minutes of mediocre training, 30 minutes of sales pitching to buy more sessions. I was so excited to start off my fitness journey with the session, and was so let down afterwards. I literally ran a mile following the "session" as I didn't even feel I had worked out with the personal trainer. This made me feel like I was in a pressure sales situation, and that the club I just joined had taken advantage of me. I'm contemplating whether I should just cancel the membership, as given this was my first experience at the club, it doesn't bode well for how they treat their members Be careful when you think about joining, it's all a numbers game.

I give this gym a one star due to their lack of professionalism, false advertisement and efficiency. I’ve gone to numerous Edge locations and have always appreciated the fitness atmosphere the gym tries to create. I most recently applied to this location and was turned down unapologetically by management for having a record (assault). However, in light of recent information the General Manager at this location also holds a record (similar to mine and lacks educational background). This place discriminates and choices what charges they will and won’t accept. If you accept one we should all have equal opportunities.

Love every single worker there. They are nice, funny, inspiring, hardworking, and motive.

So glad I rejoined after leaving for a closer facility. Now with locations near me everywhere I go, it's easy to get there and enjoy new modern equipment and classes to break up " cardio bore"... hands down, they've done tremendous expansion while still keeping costs affordable to the clients!! Thank you
