This food was incredible! The curry goat was extremely tender and full of flavor. I live in NYC and I only ate here because we were meeting with politicians but I wish there was a location in NYC. I am shocked that there are 1 star ratings here so I hope that this review will encourage others to give this place a shot.
Food wasn’t fresh! Jerk chicken was dry and taste like it was cooked weeks ago. All my family members that ate from there said the same thing. Rice and peas not cooked like a real Jamaican would make it, way too sweet, spongy rice, with dry peas. Threw my food out
This is some very decent Jamaican food run almost solely by a single woman. Awesome Goat Curry if you're into that sort of thing.. Plantains are quite delicious too. A little bit disorganized but that's kinda what I expect & look for in a Caribbean restaurant.
The oxtails themselves were great but the rice and sauce and seasoning were meh... I've tasted much better in Albany. Also poor customer service... the person answering the phone does not know much and keeps asking in the back... delivery driver came in an older vehicle with loud music playing... overall not a good experience :
They do have good beef and chicken patty.
