The Drake Underground

Said concert was starting at one time and wasn't really. Call ahead! Cafe had a private event so couldn't hang out there. Resto too expensive. Underground is just a giant room with ballet bars on the sides turned into bars tables. Too small and not like a real club with dance area and table area.

This place is very much above ground. It's also very popular, so it's not underground in that sense either. It's packed full of young students, and a snug place to dance in a circle with your friends. Pull out all your worst dance moves here, because there'll always be drunks embarrassing themselves even more.

Went for the Toronto Poetry Slam. Good vibes but be prepared to stand up or sit on the floor if you do not arrive BEFORE doors open.. or alternatively get a friend to save you a seat.. there were many empty chairs because of this. It was packed and difficult to walk through

A nice small underground venue! I quite like it here, the atmosphere is very intimate and decent sound. Concert venue prices for alcohol though.

The night I went Saturday night the place was extremely packed and was filled well over capacity. Drinks were average price for downtown Toronto. Music was good and barely waited in any line to get in.
