I had heard lots of great things about the dining room at the culinary institute and had never been despite living in Charlottetown for a long time. Despite the « hype » it still managed to exceed my expectations.  We got a lovely seat next to the windows overlooking the water and Victoria park.  The menu was the perfect size, enough to provide variety without being unintentional.  The service was excellent from start to finish. You can tell the culinary institute also teaches students about the broader service experience in a restaurant beyond the food itself.  We enjoyed a mixed charcuterie board to start, and a mushroom risotto and pork escalope for mains. Everything was delicious.  I definitely recommend it for a nice meal out. It rivals the other higher-end dining experiences in town Red water, Slaymaker, sims, Brickhouse both in terms of menu and food quality as well as service.

Outstanding experience. I can say that this place is the pearl of Charlottetown's culinary oyster. Dinner ambiance has low light and chiming music loud enough to compliment every conversation held at the table. Service is handeled by the students of culinary institute. Food is fresh, portions are generous, flavors are bold and dynamic.  You cannot beat the price for this kind of experience.  A must go.

This is one of the best dining rooms on the island and has likely the best view. A varied and extensive menu, good wine list, elegant decor and excellent service as the wait staff and chefs are being trained by industry experts. We send many guests here and none has ever come back less than very impressed. Do yourself a favour and visit the Culinary Institute Dining Room.

Beautiful ambiance with the harbor as backdrop. The food was eclectic and original, but it all worked. Clam ceviche, sweetbreads with an unusual Mediterranean spice, and arctic char. A very good experience.

Amazing food, great service. Had the Table D'hote menu. Only issue was that we advised our server that we had an early flight the next morning and asked for dessert to go. Took almost an hour from when we received our mains to get dessert and the bill.

Food was mostly good, just the Crete brûlée was a major disappointment contained wine, which was not mentioned or it would not have been ordered, also was not brûléed. Disappointing! Service was also extremely slow! Atmosphere was loud and not what was expected!

Amazing staff, even more amazing food!! A great modern sophistication in the restaurant's decor and inviting atmosphere that makes it a pleasure to spend an evening there with friends.

Such an amazing meal here! Everytime we go we're surprised by the quality of food! Amazing views since the renovations as well!

The fine dining servers-in-training are so attentive.  The food is exceptional! A wonderful dining experience. A PEI must do.

The food is awesome. We had a great family dinner with the best service.
