Dave's Lobster

Warm lobster roll with perfectly toasted bread & lobster pan-sizzled to the right temperature with butter, lemon & garlic then topped with chives served with a dill pickle & choice of potato chips I got the dill... what more can a seafood lover ask for! My order was so carefully packaged with nice thick napkins & a wet wipe and placed into a branded paper bag with handles. The lobster roll was filled with all lobster which tasted like it was just caught & the flavor and texture was melt in your mouth goodness! A bit steep in price however the amount of lobster in it made it less painful on the wallet. Feels like the lobster meat was from a 1.5 pound lobster. I thoroughly enjoyed it & would easily pay the MP for another heavenly warm lobster roll!

What a lobster roll. I was impressed. Got the half and half and I think I liked more the mayonnaise option. What a wonderful food. The bread itself was also very good, toasted. Fully recommended as a must-eat when in and around Charlottetown! Full of people as well.

Absolutely amazing food and a great spot to sit- if you’re interested in sitting outside, but the staff were amazing. 2 sweet humans helped my mum and I- we mentioned we were going to split the cold and the warm and to our surprise it came cut right down the middle!

This was such a treat. The staff was so kind to me and took the time to explain the difference between rolls. I took Sumn Fancy because this was my first lobster roll and I'm more accustomed to warm lobster. I smiled the entire time I was eating. So good! Obviously pricey but I was ok with it.

All my daughter wanted for her 10th bday was a yummy lobster roll so we headed here for the patio space with our dog. Very tasty! Enjoyed the lobster roll/ chips/ beverage combo. Just wish there was a bit more shelter and a patio heater as we had to sit outside and temps dropped to 12-14C after the rain. Impressed with the bun good quality grilled big sausage type bun with butter. Can always take more lobster but hey, it’s not in season in Sept and $$. Expect to pay $20 for PEI lobster rolls this time of year, seems steep but market prices are high right now. We didn’t get a side pickle so maybe we didn’t order the same as the other reviewer from three weeks ago. It was totally worth it anyway. YUM! p.s. Thanks for the water bowl for the pooch!

I had the 'some fancy' and my gawd - it was heavenly. The little pickle they snuck on the side was one of the best I've had. My friends on the other hand shared a 'half and half'. The cold half is wayyyyyyy too salty. Like almost 50% more salt than the some-fancy. Edit: I think this may help some of you - the difference between large and medium is the amount put on the bun. However they use the same sized bun. You might not see a difference visually but you can definitely tell by the weight!

This wasn't my first visit to Dave's Lobster. Last time I was there was around 4 years ago and it still tastes the same. A nice warm roll with hot and cold lobster. I got the split option. Half the local and some fancy. Tasted great. Always good. Also try the Anne of Green Cables Raspberry Cordial drink. Great drink.

This place was recommended by a local to us; the game changer was the buttery homemade bun. This was the best lobster roll we had in PEI, and we went back for a second time before our flight.

Super delicious lobster roll. Very pricey but to be expected with the amount of lobster they put on there. We had the "half and half" - half cold, half warm with butter. No doubt we are cold lobster roll people. A great way to cap off the end of our east coast tour.

My fiancé and I stopped by this morning and had half &half he had gluten free. It was really good! The lobster was cooked just right and the seasonings complemented the lobster very well. We both preferred the "some fancy" which was warm and in a lemony butter sauce.It was a good find amidst the rainy day we've had today.
