The Crown and Lion English Pub

The server was great and the food was very tasty. They were very busy so the wait was a little longer but I can’t blame them for how packed they were and how delicious the food was. Great job guys I will definitely be coming back to try out more of the menu in the near future.

Staff is always in a rush to close. To be more specific, my friend and I entered this establishment at 12:35 am, while the bar was still full of people. The staff looked at us as we walked in. We proceeded to take a seat, and waited 5-7 minutes before anybody came to us. When the waitress did approach our table, she informed us that last call was 5 minutes ago. We would’ve appreciated the notice when we first entered. What baffles me is how last call was at 12:35 on a Friday night with a bar full of people. I’ve been here quite a few times, and this isn’t the first time the staff tries to wrap things up as early as possible. With that being said, the food is usually pretty good. If you can get there earlier in the day, you’ll most likely enjoy your experience. For those wanting to hang at a bar on Friday/Saturday night until 1-2am, this is not the place. You’re better off going to Boston Pizza or Jack Astor’s, which aren’t too far from this pub. I’ll also note that my friend and I weren’t intoxicated when we came, so it’s not as if we were being rude/rowdy.

Sharon was just amazing. Friendly and quick. Beautiful too. Will be back for sure because of her !!!

Best pub in Peel. Hands down. Always clean & well maintained. Food is consistently good in all of my visits. Pretty good variety of beer.

This is the 3rd time at The Crown & Lion. We Love it here. The food and atmosphere is awesome. But what makes this Place so Great is the servers. Brett has been our server twice and I have to say Great Service Keep it up and see you again. Mike
