We had delivery order to our home few months ago and it was not satisfied. Then we dine in last week again and it was not a good experience. Fried chicken was actually good to be honest. Other than that, well.. one of the oysters was bad. They had to bring fresh one back later but it took forever. I had to step up to get lemons. Restaurant was so busy server did not give us enough attention and did not listen to us. Seafood was kinda disappointing. We had $75 special but it was absolutely nothing. Very few shrimps.. So disappointed, we are not coming back.
Very good! I've been to famous seafood places, same style serving food in a bag and they fall mediocre to this place. The food had great flavor BUT once they added the level of heat you requested to it... Seriously... AMAZING! I love really spicy food and was going to get their hottest season but once everyone else was like "Damn! That Hot seasoning is HOT". I too went with the hot and I'm happy I did because it was perfect. Also, let me not forget that the service was great! We will definitely be coming back here.
The food was excellent. Great for a date night out if you dont mind being messy. They do have a hand washing station so you dont have to worry about waiting for the bathroom. A bit on the pricey side so in my opinion special occasion or celebration or just trying something out for fun. And if you are a seafood person, this is definitely the place for you. Reminds me of Joe's crab shack.
Tried the special which was a pound of shrimp and 1/2 pound of crab legs with corn and potatoes for $3199. Also added a sausage. I ordered the trifecta sauce... BEWARE!!! I requested "hot" as the heat level and had to send it back. My mouth and tongue were on FIRE!!! And that wasn't even the highest level of heat. I'm not faint at heart but I was punked. So grateful for our waitress who, without hesitation, said "I know what to do." She took my bag and returned with a level of spice that I could stomach. While the seafood was tasty, I've had better. I love the flavored sauces but this sauce was so oily, it just rolled off the seafood. I prefer the thicker sauce that sticks to the seafood. The fried catfish was very good, fresh and hot. $12 for 2 fillets. Service was great. Arrived soon after opening, so there was no wait.
I had a wonderful time here. We were greeted at the door by the owner who has a very welcoming and warm personality. This was my first time here so our waitress was more than happy to explain how the menu works. I ordered the Catfish and fries. And it was delicious. I have never tasted catfish from a restaurant that good. When you bite into it you get a nice crisp breading which is then paired beautifully with the perfectly cooked catfish filet itself. I highly recommed.Treat yourself or your mama or your pastor or whoever, just come ready to eat good food
Skimpy amount of food for the price. I paid $25 for fried shrimp and calamari. Never again! I should have gone to Haire's Shrimp!
Great space, awesome food and drinks. Took my daughter for her birthday. We indulged in the lobster tail and crab legs. I suggest ordering all the butters combined for best robust flavor. OMG, we can't wait to return. 5-Stars!!!
By far the best tasting seafood I've ever had! The restaurant was full of life and catered to the bib-required-hands-dirty-finger-licking experience right down to offering crayons to write on the paper table covers or the graffiti covered walls. The menu was considerably more expensive than I had anticipated though since it only has a $$ cost level. It should be probably be a $$$. I would highly recommend The Crazy Crab Chicago for taste and experience, just make sure you're ready to pay for it.
Our server Lisa was amazing so warm and welcoming . She took her time with myself and my husband . It was our first time she didn’t rush us to order and make our minds up. She was very patient with us in selecting our boil ... The food was very good as well ....Also tried the mango rum it was soooooo good .... Not to bad for a Friday night... Thank you Lisa for taking such good care of us excellent customer service......
Had a good experience at this fast casual seafood restaurant. Ordered shrimp with a mix of their three sauces, calamari, and fries. Service was good. Prices are above average.
