I went 4 29 19 ordered the full bbq slab with mac n cheese and the potato. The ribs are delicious! I love them and the sauce is phenomenal please dont ever change your sauce or how your ribs are cut! The potato is cool i add my own seasoning cause there's is spicy. The mac and cheese really isnt my thing cause the cheeses are not well blended. And the recipe leaves a bad AFTER taste in your mouth.
The alfredo is to die for. It is absolutely my favorite and the best I ever had. It was creamy and flavorful. They give you a good amount and are very generous with the sauce and chicken. My boyfriend also enjoyed thejr ribs and mac and cheese. We love this place and know its good. Wish the parking lot was bigger and in a better location.
This is my first time eating at THIS location on Vandyke & 696... I first ate at The Crab House many years ago at their location on 7 Mile and Evergreen area and that was when the small crab leg dinners were $9.99 when they first opened up. I remember living in Clinton Township on 16 Mile road and Groesbeck and driving all the way to 7 Mile and Evergreen several times a month. The food was good at this location customer service was pretty good. My picture isn't the best picture because the lighting was terrible sorry about that and my daughter tilted the bag and they rearranged the food and some of sauce spilled out. One daughter loves the eggs and my other daughter wanted a piece of chicken with her fried catfish but it tasted really delicious. It was fresh and hot. The wait wasn't too long and you can also dine in. The dining area is fairly large and it was clean. I recommend this place and I will be returning.
The the flavor was ok. Little crabs little lobster. Extra long wait. She comes out we gave u extra potatoes and corn for the wait. A joke. The corn was dry. Like how the corn in all this juice and super dry. I didnt even eat the corn. And I love corn
My first visit and I enjoyed the customer service as well as the food. I was taken care of by Charles a.k.a. Chuck who took the time to prepare my meal in spite of the fact that they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. He was there prepping the Chili for the following day when he noticed me pulling on the door. I love Salmon so I ordered a dinner which included a garlic baked potato corn on the cob and a egg. I waited 15-20 minutes max and it was worth the wait. The Salmon was tender and well seasoned. Everything was good and I can't wait to go back! The reviews had me nervous but I'm glad I had my own experience.
I ate here a few times and it's been decent. I was just about to place another order but I can't lie I just peeped not only is the company taxing for some cheap Kool-Aid BUT IF YOU WANT ICE/A COLD DRINK IT'S AN EXTRA $1??? I'm literally not placing an order now because that's the pettiest thing I have ever seen from a restaurant. Charging extra for a cold drink is wild and why is your drinks warm in the first place?...
Horrible just horrible. Spent $52 on a measly ribeye dinner. I wanted asparagus, they were out of course. So I chose broccoli,HOLD THE HUGE BLACK HAIR. WITH ME HAVING RED HAIR I was disgusted. A long black kinda curly hair just Marinated in my broccoli. Place needs to be shut down for a deep cleaning and a re-training. No quality at all dog food.
Great food but a little pricey. Not a place I would do regularly because of price and food type. Not the healthiest but so good. If I lived closer I would get takeout probably once a month as a treat. The owner is super nice. The cooks do a great job. Those brothers pay attention to the food and make it as in if it were for them. I love the southern appeal. It's the only time I can get koolaid that taste like when I was a kid in Detroit. I totally recommend trying this place.
The staff was friendly and the wait was a little bit longer than I expected but not bad. They should definitely do a makeover in the restaurant... It's a dingy and a hole in the wall. There is dine in sitting available as well as carryout and door dash delivery service. The potatoes were a little garlicky for my liking and the fried Chicken was a little burnt.
Ordered lunch from here two years ago. The order was delivered but, without any sauce. I called them and told them and all the girl said was for me to come and pick up the sauce they didn't include. When I informed them of the fact I was at work and couldn't come, the girl I was speaking to just said come and get it after work! Now how much sense does that make when I'm trying to eat lunch NOW at the time?!?! She had an obvious I don't give an F attitude the whole time, in addition to being an airhead. The fact that they expected the customer to carry the burden of their mistake/incompetence was astounding. The food was otherwise okay but, nothing to write home about. The wait was long and prices too high as well. I have not ordered from here since. Not a professional staff from what I experienced, mediocre food, and high prices means I won't be back.
