Excellent quality and workmanship, and I mean that! Our second cover is a beautiful thing just as the first from Cover Guy was, 11 years ago. Our hot tub is outdoors 24/7 so the cover takes a lot of weather including sitting snow and rain, these ones from Cover Guy hold up extremely well, a gazillion times better than the factory one that only lasted 4 years for us and it was literally falling apart. When we first replaced it with Cover Guy cover, it was quite evident the tub was retaining heat better as it literally cut the time it ran to heat in half. The first one from Cover Guy took 11 years to develop cracks in one corner on top vinyl, otherwise would have kept it but once moisture gets under the vinyl it starts to get incredibly heavy after a rain to lift it. Other than that, on the outside it still looked like new although the inside was starting to deteriorate but after 11 years of 103 F steam on it I'm not complaining! This new lid has a new design as well, with tapered edges so it is higher in center than edge and that will aid water running off instead of sitting on it. Superior workmanship and excellent web site to aid in ordering and taking your measurements, and customization allowed - you won't regret it just order it from them already! Photos of new cover attached, I should have paid attention when ordering and had them customize where the buckle straps come down cuz now I'll have a 3rd spot to screw them in instead of using the old slots.
I've been dealing with these guys for several years now. Always excellent service. Most recently tho I ordered a four pack of hot tub filters, a great price. When the package was received I noted only two in the pack. Once notified they quickly corrected this error and I received my other two in record time, with an apology for the oversight. Great companies, when presented with an issue, work to resolve that issue and they did so here. I have every confidence in them, they will do the right thing should something go amiss.....integrity right there! Outstanding service! Highly recommend!
I just installed a new cover and lifting mechanism for my Calspa tub. The items shipped were free from damage and were exactly what I had ordered. The fit of the cover was excellent and installing the new lifting mechanism went without a hitch. The only complaint I have is how long it took for my new cover to arrive. I didn't see any advisory when I placed the order that it would take about 8 weeks for delivery. I would have still ordered from you, however it would be helpful to have a clear idea of how long it will take for the product to arrive.
We ordered a Deluxe Hot Tub Cover for our Artic Spa back in October 2022 and it was been a huge improvement. Ordering was easy and was delivered within the expected delivery time. We recently went through a Saskatchewan cold snap ranging from -30 to -40 and the cover did not disappoint. My old cover would have iced up from the escaping heat creating icicles around the tub in such temperatures. The new cover not only did not ice up, the water level did not go down during the 2 week period. Highly recommend Cover Guy covers for colder climates.
The overall experience has not been pleasant. I received a defective product in the mail upon purchase and the seems of the cover are coming apart, the clip broke, the handle broke and the cover assit broke while lifting the cover damaging my tub. I've tried to warranty and I'm not getting anywhere. I don't recommend this product at all. Highly disappointed in the quality of materials and service received.
I’m really loving our new cover. We use our hot tub so so much more because this cover is so so much lighter than the cover that came with the hot tub and now so easy to remove, also double the thickness and still so so much lighter. The quality is amazing. Definitely worth getting!! I would recommend this cover to everyone!!
Ordered a hot tub cover it took 6 months to get it and it cost $850 and looked good when I finally received it but within 2 months the seams on the cover let go. The Cover Guy wanted pictures and they said it was due to to much chemicals so there 7 year Warrenty isn’t worth anything at all. They gave me half price of the outside liner it took 3 months to get it and they said I needed a insulation blanket to protect the cover so I bought it and they were to ship it with the cover but it never happened. I am still waiting to receive the blanket and it is now 4 months. Never buy from these people there covers are sub quality and there Warrenty is very miss leading. Still waiting to receive the rest of my order. There covers comes are made in China a note of caution so people don’t have troubles like I have been taken for. Don’t buy from The Cover Guy if you don’t want headaches.
We love the new cover and find the option of the added handles makes it much easier to open and close. This should reduce break down of material in this area. Great customer service. We would be interested in learning ways to reduce the build up of ice on the fasteners if anyone has any suggestions.
The web site was easy to use and understand. The cover was ordered and delivered when specified. It fit perfect. Great experience. I would recommend The Cover Guy to anyone looking to purchase a cover for their hot tub.
