Stayed for the first time on Sunday April 13.  What a nice visit from start to finish. Checked in with Gloria who was so helpful and nice. Check out was just as easy. Not sure who checked us out, but she was just as nice. The room was clean, and spacious. Asked for a room by the pool and received one! The resturant, there is amazing and very reasonably priced. My only suggestion is to have the pool water warmer. It was so cold! The Cove is in the perfect location as you can walk to so many things. We will be back in the fall!

First ever solo trip, and I felt quite welcome at The Cove. Front desk was friendly and helpful when I arrived, and I had little trouble getting to my room. It is true when people say that the hallways feel like a maze, but you eventually find your way. Contrary to past reviews I read, the room was quite clean. Bed was clean, couch was clean, and, most importantly, the bathroom was clean. It conveyed a productive response to criticism, and I appreciated it. Enjoyed myself to the little arcade in the lower level and the pool/hot tub FYI gym is currently under renovation.  Only pointer I have is that they should have two people at the front desk during the day, considering that the person working when I arrived was juggling phone calls and check-ins. Great experience overall, definitely recommend for a solo or group stay.

This place is old and gross. Some rooms are updated, but not all. Ours wasn’t and had gross green carpet with stains everywhere. The blinds were a million shades of white and yellow, likely from smoke or repair. The hallways smelled horribly of weed and smoke, despite there being “Non-Smoking” signs on every room door. During our stay, the police were called to detain a drunk naked man that was in the pool. The pool was also gross and there is scum along the sides and the hot tub. Half the children  working the front lobby were very nice, and the other half weren’t nice or helpful. My family was staying in the large loft rooms on the 4th floor. You can tell some attempt was made to upgrade the space, but it was already poorly taken care of. Things were broken, scuffed and scratched. There were lots of nail holes in the walls and cobwebs all over the ceilings. For the amount these rooms cost, especially during an off season weekend, this was a total disappointment. I let The Cove know on our 2nd day about our experience but nothing was done and no further questions were asked. I’ll definitely be staying elsewhere on my next trip to Lake Geneva.

The location is great. But that's about it. My back is wrecked from the bed. It felt like concrete. My arm went numb laying on my side in the bed. The couch was uncomfortable as well. The child working the coffee bar in the lobby was clueless and served us cold coffee. We ordered 2 hot coffees and they were cold. There was a room down the hall that has a very loud party. The hallways were noisy. I will now need to go to the chiropractor to fix my back after sleeping there.

Front desk staff are children and not at all hospitable.  The only staff that was hospitable was a maintenance man who took our luggage cart back with him to the front desk.  Older man, very kind and helpful. Sorry I didn't get his name.  Went to check out by 11 and was loading our vehicle and couldn't get back into building to finish to be out on time because our key card locked us out at 1102am so had to drive all the way around the building to go to front desk to get the rest of our belongings from our room.  Two little girls manning the front desk were not apologetic or sympathetic.  As a matter of fact, the one with the blond hair just turned and walked away like I wasn't there seeking help.  Had to walk all the way to the furthest corn from the front desk, which is where our room was, which was about a fourth of a mile walk.  Then, I went back to the front desk to check out at 11:10 and was told I would receive an email receipt, which I had to email you on.  Then, I finally got that.  I'm not sure I had the most relaxing stay due to the staff at the front desk.  First impressions are lasting ones The Cove.
