Haven't eaten here so did not rate food. This is the classic dive bar that everyone wants to visit or create. It is a great place to meet friends, remember school days, or create new memories as a student or alum. Come for a good cold beer, stay to socialize, and breath the era of a great college dive bar.
Every time I’m lucky enough to be at The Coug It always feels like home. A no nonsense place you can get some great bar food and a beer and be yourself. The only thing better than the atmosphere here is the knowledgeable and professional staff that make you feel welcome and taken care of even on the busiest night.

Had a great burger and beer. Soaked in the "Coug" ambiance on a hot day. Met a couple of old football players from 72, visiting for a 50 year reunion!!!
Fun place to hang out on campus and people watch. Great food. I've been getting the teriyaki burger for over 30 years and it's always good. Kid-friendliness: It's a bar where kids are allowed until 8pm Parking: Parking is along the streets, often difficult to find close spots.
Such a hole but what Coug can't say they love it! Fun bartenders!!!

Have gone to the Coug over 50 years. Met my hubby on a blind date there. Mavericks used to be our fav. Dancing too. Always a fun spot to return to.
Mike was such a great bartender and host. I'd go back just to see him.
