Where to start!? 2 great places in one, the food is our go to. Duck fat fries, truffle oil popcorn, unique selection of delicious pizzas. Have enjoyed so many great meals here. A one of a kind in lansing. Great drinks! Great draft selection as well!
Great local joint. 12 inch pies are phenomenal. I had the chicken sausage pizza with a side of wings. Both were great. As a bonus I had a Bell's amber and a Kentucky Mule while I waited. The only down side is the pizzas do not come any larger than 12-inchs.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Passing through Lansing and stopped at The Cosmos. Entered through the connected Zoobie's Tavern. Very cool atmosphere. Tried the Trust Us pizza and Duck Fat truffle parm fries. I like the idea of them surprising me with a delicious pizza and they didn't disappoint. I wouldn't normally order those toppings of spinach, cherry tomatoes, red onions, red pepper, and banana peppers, but it was yummy and this Trust Us was a winner. The fries were good and liked the homemade ketchup. They have outdoor seating as well in the back. Would definitely come back for another Trust Us.
Staff was fast and pleasant with customers. Food is awesome! If you are into exotic types of foods and out of the ordinary pizzas, this is the place. First time there, bought the chicken pesto pizza and 2 of the bruchetta apps. All of it was to die for! Definitely will go there again when in the area
Pizza was very well prepared & I will definitely go back! However, I took a chance on the “trust us” pizza and will not be able to trust them again. I love almost all pizza & was not worried about not knowing what I would get, but I received toppings I wouldn’t expect on pizza! Celery, carrots, cilantro leaves This didn’t personally fit my pallet & I will just stick with what I like going forward. Pizza seemed like it would be great, this one just didn’t suit me & was quite disappointing.
The pepperoni pizza was phenomenal, the duck fat fries were bomb, and the pork bbq pizza had a lot of flavors going on but was super good! Bloody Mary wasn’t super exciting, but still overall awesome experience and killer pizza.
So I go to the cosmos probably about once a month; every time I order I get the chicken nachos and deviled eggs. So today I go in because I was craving the chicken nachos, I ordered for my friend and myself. I get home and literally it's almost all chips, barely any other toppings and they changed the chicken to this intensely shredded chicken, it almost looked like it came out of a can. I call them for a new order because again I was hungry pick the order up and literally they taste horrible. I don't know if it's because they change the chicken or maybe it's because they barely put any queso. Who knows, I definitely will not be back. Highly disappointed because this is not the first time this has happened. I could get chicken nachos from a actual Mexican restaurant but I chose this establishment. Now I'm out of 12$ and I'm still hungry.
This is the best pizza spot in town, and I will argue their fries are some of the best as well. They are not you're typical toppings pizza, but they do have some normal pizza. If you are looking to try interesting toppings on wood fired pizza, this is the spot. They have a Trust Us Pizza that is different everyday and we did try it finally, and it was very good. Service is always good here for me, we usually stop in at Lunch time so there not as busy.
I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. The food was excellent and Matthew was an attentive and friendly server. I appreciate how prompt he was with our order. I look forward to coming back! Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps and wheelchair friendly restrooms available here.
Cosmos. I want desperately to love you, and I do, but to be honest we are only at a moderate love. Here's the thing, food: still great. Honestly probably the best mid-Michigan neopolitan pizza. And that matters. I super understand that it's difficult to attract server talent right now...that's why I gave you 4 stars there. But honestly, the service wasn't great. The atmosphere suffers when you're shutting the dining room down at 8pm while we were sitting there...and honestly it makes our several hundred dollar bill seem somehow unwelcome. Now, in all fairness, I still love you. But I love you less.
